On 20th May 2015, Soul of the Blues presenter Jeremy Rees and House of Jazz presenter Greg Petter teamed up to pay tribute to the late great B.B.King. The first hour is lead by Jeremy Rees and looks at the influence of B.B.King's music on three generations of musicians. The second hour is lead by Greg Petter and looks at the artists and music that influenced B.B.King. To celebrate my 50th broadcasted show i decided to do a Blues Highway Special. Part 1 will look at artists from Chicago, Davenport, St. Louis and Nashville, while part 2 will look at memphis, Clarksdale and New Orleans. I am aware that I am missing some big names in blues from the area, but this was more of a rough guide and introduction to some of the artists of the area.
