Navid talks to Marcus Kowal, a former MMA fighter originally from Sweden. Today, most of his time is spent running several gyms in the Los Angeles area. In september of 2016, his son Liam was killed by a drunk driver at 15 months of age. You might have seen Eldra Jackson III in the documentary "The Work" (2017). Eldra has served 24 years of a life sentence, two of them in solitary. Nowadays, he works for the organization "Inside Circle" which was founded in New Folsom Prison in Sacramento 1996, after a deadly racial rioting. Members of Inside circle, among other things, works as facilitators in men's work inside the prison walls. Sometimes with people from the outside participating. By working the program and rehabilitation of Inside Circle, Eldra was able to be released from prison.
