Happy Birthday, Boots!

This one is just Bread's daughter. Harper Marie, you're the best. Here's to 8, and another 100 more!
BREAKING NEWS! Hilton Price, a host and cohost to many wonderful podcasts on the ola network, joins us tonight on this episode to talk about his life behind the scenes working for the ballet and his time working at a local news station. We also dipped our toes into the comedy world and gave some advice to newcomers in the scene. Join us as we gracefully twirl into those rabbit holes and more!
On this very special episode of How Do You Do?, we had on our friend, mentor, local comedy legend, and One True King of Tulsa, Evan Hughes, to talk about what it means to be a comedy booker and promoter. We talked about pissing off venues, working on our comedy, and how to be successful in the community. If you're a comic, you're going to want to hear this. Time to learn, y'all! <3
Tonight we are joined by Eric Strauss to discuss the life of a high end bartender. Eric explains the do's and dont's of going to a bar as well as regaling us with funny stories that he's collected along the way. Grab a stool and join us on this adventure. It's time to learn y'all! 🖤
This episode we have Hattie Eubanks join us. She is a talented tailor and a costumer.  We discuss the basics and, of course, go over all the fuckbois who have a "fashion line" these days. This one will have you in stitches!   It's time to learn, y'all!
We are back! We kick off the fourth season with our dear friend, Adonia. She is a Drag Artist and producer in Oklahoma. We talk about the wonderful world of performing, pre-show rituals, and all the hot goss involved with it.  Pull up a chair, sit weirdly (because gay), and LEARN. Y'all be actin' like you don't know what time it is. <3 We're back, bebbeh.
Do you ever wonder how a conversation can go from one thing, to something completely unrelated in no time at all? Study this podcast, and you'll have your answer. We talked about being an IT professional, birds, money, and Federal Sentencing Guidelines for bank robbers. This episode is wild as hell, and you'll want to hear every minute. Come settle in, relax, and learn a whole lot of everything. <3
He has the stones to build your house, AND the stones to get up on stage. His name is Cameron Porter, and he's funny as hell. We asked him all about selling stones. We also asked him about getting stabbed. This is a fun one, and it's short! It's time to learn, y'all! <3
This week's episode is a little different. Like a lot of the episodes, we had on a comic. Not only that, but we had on a great comic. The difference is, this time, we talked about some jobs that he used to do. Cepeda Cheeks is a 7-year veteran of the Army, and we wanted to know a little about it. We shot the shit, heard some great stories, and even learned about some of the finer points of getting punished. Anyway, I just checked the clock, and it's time to learn, y'all. <3
What's your favorite part of an art museum? For me, it is always the gift shop. The gift shop employees know about every guest the museum has had. They know about the lady who sharted at the new installation. They know about the young couple nodding off and fighting outside the bathrooms. They know about the artists, they know about the donors, and they're willing to talk about it all. At least, this one is. We had Hannah Weaver on the show. Hannah is part of retail operations at Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, AR. This show is, to say the least, a little wild. We know what you love, and we're bringing it to you. Expect Bread's enemy to make a few appearances. Expect a little Yiddish here and there. Expect the unexpected. We got Cheech, we got Walmart, and we got plenty of snowflakes. It's time to learn, y'all! <3
Hey yo whatup How Do You Do? listeners, check this shit out. We had a Digital Artist on the show this week, talking about doing art... Digitally. Don't worry, we also talked about painting, music, and post-corporate life. Zachary Taylor is a dope artist, musician, and all-around cool guy. Go check out his work at Daddiosaurus.com Love you,
Look around you. Unless you're some kind of monster, you're surrounded by wood. Your walls are wood. Your furniture is wood. You're drinking wood alcohol. Someone has to make all that noise. That's where we found this week's guest -- Will. Come listen to Will talk about cabinetry, Socialism, and the importance of working with cool people. Just like always, this subject ended up being interesting as hell. It's time to learn, y'all. <3
For tonight's very special episode, we decided to get serious. We brought in Ethan to talk about his job in promotional item distribution. Just kidding, we had a fun-ass time with it. In the second half of the episode, we talked about standup comedy. Specifically, we talked about Free Speech in standup, and how our words may affect others. We tackled censorship, gatekeeping, Cancel Culture, bigotry, and all of the other buzzwords comics like to toss around in 2022. Do you think Cancel Culture exists? Do you think Free Speech is under attack? Do you think bigotry has a place in today's comedy? We said no to all three. Let us know if you agree!
Do you hear that? Is that a whistle, blowing in the distance? It sure sounds like it! We had Jasmine on to talk about her experience in the cannabis industry! We get ALL the tea on the legal weed industry in our beloved state. From exploitation of migrant workers, to Trump-worshiping lunatics with assault weapons, we have it all! Time to learn, y'all (and maybe get mad!) <3
Do you buy new clothes? Well, stop that. The stuff that your mom wore in 1995 is cool again, and I can prove it. We interviewed Ele, who runs a booth at a resale shop in Tulsa. Ele's job hinges upon her knowing exactly what is cool right now, and making sure to have it in stock. She even taught us some tricks for finding cool stuff, without harming the environment. Time to learn, y'all! <3
Tonight Bruno Chaise joins us with pinkies out to talk about working in high end custom furniture! We sit down with her and discuss the ins and outs of a very specialized field. She deals with sales reps all the way to shipping the final pieces to the customer. Do you think you have what it takes? Grab your favorite fainting couch and take a listen! It's time to learn y'all! <3 intro: pyroflow by Kevin McLeod
Hey hello hi OH WAIT HOW DO YOU DO Ahem. Sorry. Back to business. This episode is a great deal of fun, as well as a whole mess of educational and spiritual enrichment. We sat down with Aunj, a great up and coming artist in Tulsa and OKC. Aunj talked about painting, as well as the black experience in the art world as a whole. We do hope you'll sit down a spell, pop a gummie, and learn a bit with us. Our shared experience is all we've got, and it's up to us to celebrate our differences, as well as our similarities. <3
Season 3 is here!!! Nichole joins us tonight on this very special episode. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This episode we talk about DID, how interesting the mind really is, and a little bit of our own personal journeys through shame. Take a load off and join us for this look into mental health.  It's time to learn y'all! <3 Intro: Pyroflow Kevin McLeod
Hey hey hey, we're releasing Part 2 today! It's the season 2 effin' finale of our badass learnin' show! We had Chaz Stephens back to talk about being a black man. We talked about culture, good and bad. We talked about Chicago, music, and our dreams. Come join us, and then come back for Season 3. We'll miss you, but we'll be back soon. It's time to learn, y'all. <3
In this first half of a two-part episode, Chaz Stephens gives us the rundown on being a debate coach, cowboy, and comic. Chaz is an incredible standup, and we had a great time debating the sillier aspects of life, as well as some more serious topics. In Part 2, we'll go over what it's like to be a black educator in Oklahoma. Stay tuned for that, because it's not what you expect. Maybe it is. I don't know what you expect. This is the Season Finale, so make sure you pop some corn and buckle in. We're gonna give you one hell of a learnin'. <3
