Description

There's good news for anyone that is confused by men, which is basically everyone ---- the 'How Men Think' podcast has returned!
'How Men Think' was always about helping women understand the things that men do and say, that just don't make sense to us. Since the beginning, the mission has been the same...a constant search for answers to your questions about relationships, dating, marriage, divorce, breakups, hookups, love, sex, family, fatherhood, and why men do -- the things men do!
Now, with the addition of Executive Producer Paris Hilton at the helm...there won't be any sugar-coating, no beating around the bush...and best of all, absolutely NO mansplaining! The new and improved HMT podcast will deliver the cold, hard, ugly truth to women -- because like it or not...we need to hear it.
But as much as we like to think all men are the same, they're actually very different -- (Frustrating isn't it?!) That's why, each week a celebrity guest-host will take over the show and give honest advice in his area of expertise. And best of all, we're cutting out the middleman and opening up the phone lines -- directly to you!
Ladies, this podcast has everything you need to better understand men....because let's face it, they're too confusing to figure out on our own.

We now know exactly what happened after the cell phone video showing the violent argument between Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex Dakota Mortenson ended. Body camera video from police begins the moment Taylor and Dakota open the door and ends with Dakota begging police to let him go to jail in place of Taylor.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
A shocking story out of Maryland, where a young man who spent most of his life inspiring the sports world, is now behind bars charged with fatally shooting his front seat passenger. Police say 27-year-old Dayton Webber, a quadruple amputee, was driving when he was able to pull out a handgun and shoot his passenger in the head during a heated argument. Two witnesses in the backseat fled the vehicle and flagged down police, which ultimately led to Webber’s arrest. Webber, who was named Maryland’s best cornhole player, is now sitting in a Virginia jail cell, awaiting extradition.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

A California jury found 88 year old Billy Cosby liable for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman back in 1972.  Donna Motsinger was awarded $19.25 million for her pain and suffering and another $40 million in punitive damages.  Cosby plans to appeal the verdict and continues to deny ever assaulting anyone.  Even though his only criminal conviction was overturned for procedural reasons, Cosby is still facing dozens of other civil lawsuits from women who have made similar accusations against the once beloved comedian.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
President Trump made several appearances today, touting the talks he says the U.S. has had with Iran. Trump says they went so perfectly that if Iran carries through, it will end the conflict. However, Iran is maintaining that “no talks have taken place” and reports to the contrary are fake news.  Despite the confusing messaging, the markets rallied and the price of oil dropped below $100 a barrel.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
This story just keeps escalating! It began over the weekend when Brazilian soccer player Jorginho Frello first publicly accused Chappell Roan’s “extremely aggressive” security team of being rude to his 11-year-old daughter.  Roan took to instagram to defend herself, saying she never saw any child and it wasn’t her security team that was involved. Then, his wife, singer Catherine Harding, aka Cat Cavelli chimed in and called BS on Roan’s version of events. Adding to that, now the mayor of Rio says Roan is no longer allowed to perform in his city.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

New York City’s LaGuardia Airport has been shut down until further notice.  Just before midnight last night an Air Canada flight arriving from Montreal collided with an emergency vehicle on the tarmac.  Officials say both the pilot and the co-pilot of the plane were killed in the crash and two Port Authority police officers along with 41 passengers suffered injuries.  ”See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Guthrie children have released another plea to the public, saying they cannot grieve, they “can only ache and wonder.”  Meantime the embattled sheriff overseeing the case spent nearly an hour with local reporters insisting that the case to find missing 84 year old Nancy Guthrie is “not even close” to a cold case yet.   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
President Trump has been on a social media tear, and we’re not sure which post is more concerning.  First Trump has tripled down on Truth Social, writing that ICE agents will be taking over security at our nation’s airports starting Monday.   He’s given Iran 48 hours to open the Strait of Hormuz, or else.  And he put out a short and not so sweet post saying he was glad our nation’s second longest serving FBI director is dead.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
A lot has happened since Disney announced it was canceling Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette season “at this time.”  First, her ex was granted temporary custody and a restraining order against Paul. TMZ is reporting at least five contestants are considering suing the network, while other contestants are speaking out on social media.  We’re even hearing strong reaction from Paul’s Mormon Wives co-stars.  But what we haven’t heard yet from Disney… any condemnation of domestic violence.  Instead, many believe they’re leaving a window open for the series to air at a later date. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

As of this recording on Saturday morning, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson has security line wait times over 2 hours.   After 5 failed votes to fund the Department of Homeland Security and TSA, we’ve been warned that this week’s delays and chaos will be “child’s play” compared to next week.  We have some pro tips on getting through the airport as quickly and as painlessly as possible, based on decades of flying.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
18 years after the kidnapping, rape and murder of a young mother, 54-year-old Michael King died by lethal injection this week. The brutal murder of 21-year-old Denise Amber Lee led to nationwide 9-1-1 reform, as she begged for her life for 6 minutes to dispatchers who somehow never got help to her in time, despite 3 other 9-1-1 calls. The execution chamber was packed with Denise’s family, who had a lot to say after listening to King’s final words, and watching him take his final breaths. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
31-year-old Alexia Moore is behind bars charged with felony murder, after going to the hospital in pain, admitting to staff she took online abortion pills to end her pregnancy. Georgia law bans most abortions after 6 weeks, but police say Moore was between 22 and 24 weeks pregnant when she took the pills that are only meant to be taken to terminate pregnancies of 10 weeks or less. The details of this case are tough to hear, but Moore wound up giving birth to the baby girl in the hospital, who died an hour later. Now the DA must decide whether to prosecute Moore, which would make this the first time a woman would face murder charges for an abortion in the state of Georgia. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Statements are flying and fingers are pointing everywhere in the fallout of the cancellation of Season 22 of “The Bachelorette.”  NBC is reporting on an alleged zoom call earlier this month where a Disney executive said he didn’t want to know too much about Taylor Frankie Paul’s behavior.  Also Paul’s ex has released multiple statements refuting Paul’s new accusation that she has been suffering in silence from his mental and physical abuse.  Dakota Mortensen categorically denied her claims and filed a restraining order against Paul on Thursday.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
95-year-old Dolores Huerta waited 60 years to finally tell her story of sexual abuse by once beloved labor rights leader Cesar Chavez. Huerta co-founded the United Farm Workers Association with Chavez back in the 1960s. Even though Chavez died more than 3 decades ago, we’re only now hearing from dozens of women after a New York Times investigation detailed decades of abuse from women who say they were as young as 12 when Chavez began to sexually abuse them. Hear how the Chavez family is reacting, how the Labor union he founded is responding and why streets, buildings and celebrations may all change because of this investigation. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

why go to Idaho where it's isolating and leave LA where there's people everywhere? during a pandemic? when we're supposed to be staying away from people? seems like the only logic option if you have the option..

Facts Don't Care About Your Feelings

Not half bad, but I have mixed feelings about this podcast. It does have some entertainment value, but it also embodies a multitude of negative stereotypes about men. Laughing about laying around watching porn, their wives yelling at them because they don't even bother to wash their hair, one of the guys doesn't even use freaking deodorant, another his wife said he smelled bad, none of them seem to be particularly intelligent (guy didn't know what "epitome" meant...), and dropping pretty lame jokes. I hope women don't listen to this and believe this is really how men think. Also, seems like an odd choice for a podcast called "How Men Think" to have women account for half the hosts?

Overall great podcast! Interesting topics discussed with a good mix of personalities. I enjoyed the humor. A few easy things to improve: 1. Better sound quality- the very begining was particularly bad quality and the rest was tolerable but mediocre. 2. Too much small talk in the begining. It took 12 mintues to get to the beginning of the show. It was such boring meaningless introductory chatter that i almost stopped listening. Im glad I stuck through it. If you want to open with small talk, please consider minimizing it to 3-4 minutes, including introducing and advertising yourselfs. 3. This goes along with number two, but edit, edit, edit. There were some comments and jokes that were redundant or unnecessary. 4. I enjoyed the female input. I understand this is what men think, but i would enjoy more female voice to balance some of your thoughts.
