Description

There are so many great online coaches helping people solve problems and reach goals, but for many of them, it's just a side hustle. They're forced to do it part-time. Why? Because they haven't been able to crack the code on growing their business so that they can become a full-time coach.

Then there are those who want to get into entrepreneurship by sharing their knowledge and ideas, but they aren't sure how to make it work.

If any of these scenarios sound familiar then this podcast is for you. My goal is to help anyone who wants to help other people, be able to do it as a full-time coach.

As humans, we are judgment machines. That judgment is the source of our two major fears: Being judged unacceptable ( fear of rejection) Being judged inadequate ( fear of not being good enough) For some of us these fears are a prison! Not everyone is going to accept us and many will think we have no right to pursue our dreams. I mean even Oprah had people who rejected her right up to today. In this episode, I give you a few tips to help you get over your fears of rejection and fear of not being good enough.
I came to the realization that I was spending way too much time searching for the perfect blueprint. The formula. The right framework. The El Dorado of entrepreneurship. But it doesn't exist. That's why I unsubscribed for so many things.

E010 Fear vs Instincts

Fear and instinct are easily confused, and that has to do with the fact that they are both experienced as a “gut feeling” — and I mean that literally: a feeling in the pit of your stomach. The modern-day man and woman are no longer in touch with our instincts, our gut, and therefore our intuition. We’re so occupied with our thoughts and intelligent reasoning, that it’s hard to understand what our gut means when it has a feeling. This is a problem because we make most of our decisions based on what that voice inside our heads tells us. But what happens when we can't tell if the voice is a voice of fear or the voice of our intuition? There are ways to distinguish feelings based on fear from feelings based on instincts or gut feelings that signal intuition.  In this episode we look at one of the simplest ways to make that distinction To get the accompanying download which helps you distinguish between Fear and Intuition, visit https://www.dalebharris.com/podcast/010
In my first year as a digital entrepreneur, I did all the easy things. I set up a nice website. I started a branded Instagram account. I called myself a personal branding coach. I created tons of free content. I even created a page on my website that said I was available for one on one coaching. I built it and waited for them to come. But they didn't. Sometimes when doing business online, you can be fooled into thinking that all the bells and whistles are part of doing business. Yes, to some extent they are, but business is about sales. And making sales come from making offers. In this episode, we dive into that concept. You can visit www.dalebharris.com/podcast/009 to get the accompanying transformational resource
One of the most common questions I get and I see people asking online, is, "How do I make $1,000,000?"  My answer is always the same: one dollar at a time. One customer at a time. The truth is that most people would rather dream about running a $1 million business than actually doing the work to earn $10,000 in their business (and grow it from there). When we look at successful entrepreneurs, the numbers they quote get very big, so you think that's the only way. thousands of customers from one launch, 500,000 email subscribers, $8 million in revenue. It starts to get overwhelming. Today, I’ll show you what can happen when you start small.  The truth is, you can create a successful business with a small number of people and that when you have a small number of customers, it's an opportunity to do some really amazing things.
In this episode I bring you a surprisingly short list you can copy and paste — so you can work less, stress less, and relax more doing work you enjoy. When people think about money and the internet, they get scared and confused. There are only three things you need to be successful with business online: Attract an audience Create a connection Sell them something Simple right, but making money online is made out to be complicated. You gotta be born an entrepreneur, you know., nonsense like that. Average guys and gals start businesses every day and there are just ten (or so) things you need to make money online. Use these if you don’t know where to start.
You might not be ready to go all-in as a fulltime coach or entrepreneur, but that doesn't mean you can't start living like an entrepreneur while you're working your 9 to 5

In this premiere episode, Dale goes into why he decided to call this new podcast 'The Full-Time Coach'.  I talk about my experience doing Personal Branding work and how it led me to realize that there are so many coaches who are doing the thing they love, part-time. They have to maintain a full-time job simply because they haven't been able to get their coaching business to make enough money, That's what made me decide that I needed to do what I could to help early-stage coaches not just have a great personal brand, but also have the essentials to earn the money they need in order to be a full-time coach, What are the essentials? Irresistible offers!
If you confuse you lose. I'm sure you've heard that statement countless times at this point. But even as it makes it's way into the halls of cliches, the statement is so accurate. In this episode I recount how I set up my business, thinking everything was in order, but instead I was confusing the hell out of my audience. And as usual, they were either too polite and just didn't care enough to say anything to me!
Keevan Lewis, better known as KeevoTV, sat down with us to talk about his journey as a comedian. To the world, it may seem that Keevo is one of those overnight successes, but as he shares with us, he has been building his brand for over fourteen years now. Keevo gives us some insights about how he got into comedy, some of the challenges he's faced and how his brand is building up what started off as a side hustle into what might be a very lucrative and successful fulltime career.
In this episode Dale discusses his new framework for Personal Branding coaching as well as some changes to the podcast for 2020.
If you can do something every day, you’ll become enormously successful. But being consistent is hard. Most people aren’t consistently improving themselves every day. Still, being consistent isn’t complicated. You just need to make small progress, every day. And it gets much easier if you just focus on one thing: being 1% better than you were yesterday. In this episode, Dale drills down into how important consistency is, even when you think your work is crap. Your job isn’t to be perfect. Chasing perfection is an enormous waste of energy, and you’ll feel like a failure every moment along the way. Instead, focus on just doing the work, every single day.  Seemingly inconsistent steps, repeated consistently over time, yield huge results. But you have to do it every day. That’s the tough part. Be someone who chooses to focus on being consistent.
There’s a lot of advice out there — from your friends, family, society, coworkers, Internet gurus and even me (my podcast and videos are full of advice!). But what I’ve learned is that there’s really only one major piece of advice that really matters when you’re trying to build your personal brand, when you're trying to go from good to known: Find Your Courage and Just Do It. What's on the other side of fear? Nothing. There's an awesome stylist out there who we'll never know about because she's too afraid to show the world her work. There's someone with a great business idea that will never see the true light of day because they were too afraid to make a video and tell us about it. Don't let that be you.
Today I want to share with you two groups of people that can greatly benefit from personal branding: Unsung Heroes and Those Called For More. Just because there are other people doing what you want to do doesn't mean you can't get in the game and certainly doesn't mean that you cant rise to be the best! Many people use this as an excuse to further put off the journey to create their own life of freedom and fulfillment. But like most excuses, this one is also born of fear. Other people doing and saying what you want to do and say is not a bad thing and has nothing to do with you. Because they aren't doing it the way YOU will do it. And there are people out there who are simply waiting to hear it from YOU! They've heard it before, it didn't hit home, but when they hear it from you, their lives will be transformed. So let's jump in and dispell any concerns you might have about your lane being overcrowded and there's no room for you. Please share this podcast with anyone you think needs to hear the message.
