Hey all, Tax season is here, and I’m looking for some advice. I’ve been filing my taxes myself for a couple of years, but things are getting a bit more complex now that I’m self-employed and also have some rental income. I searched "accountant near me for tax return" and found a few firms, but I’d really like personal recommendations from people who’ve had a good experience with a local UK-based accountant (preferably someone who knows how to handle HMRC queries and deductions). I also came across QuickTaxReturns.co.uk — has anyone used them before? Are they legit and affordable? Would love to know: What should I expect to pay for a tax return service? Should I go with a local accountant or try a bigger firm online? What documents should I prepare? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
