In this episode, we are speaking with Ernst Wilhelm, a Vedic Astrologer, and researcher who has been actively teaching since 1996. He has written several books in addition to producing extensive video courses for his astrological school.  He brings a wealth of astrological, occult, psychological, and humanistic knowledge learned through his own study, research and practice. He is a mechanic who has gone back to many of the source texts to reinterpret and discover more precise ways to use astrology to accurately understand our plight as humans. Ernst shares with us his understanding of the value of traditional astrological techniques such as the Lajjitadi Avashtas and the Planetary Maturations, and explores the mechanics of the Program and the concepts of predetermination and "no-choice". His view is truly his own and continues to be a living exploration of personal and cosmic truth. Most of our episodes focus on hearing from experts in the human design system. Occasionally we like to bring in those who have expertise in other systems as well as enough understanding of Human design to have a cross-pollinating conversation.  If you have studied many different systems, you have probably found it to be true that certain principles of truth repeat among different bodies of knowledge. It is an incredibly rich and validating process to see that we can come to very similar conclusions from different perspectives.  Ernst is a truly free-thinking individual who draws from source materials in Vedic astrology and doesn’t shy away from perspectives that work and can be validated through experience no matter what tradition they emerge from. After years of following his revolutionary work in Vedic astrology, we were thrilled to see him posting videos about Human Design. He is truly a 6/2 Sacral Generator on the Cross of Upheaval and if you stay tuned, you’ll see why.  To connect with Ernst, please visit: vedic-astrology.net The mentioned courses are:  Ages of the Planets Lajjitaadi Avasthas Healing Rahu & Ketu To connect with the hosts visit: Amy Lee, Human Design Analyst & Guide at holohumandesign.com John Cole, Human Design Analyst & Guide at metamorphichumandesign.com For more information about the Human Design Collective and to support our work, please visit: https://humandesigncollective.com/podcast/ For Human Design courses and workshops visit: https://courses.humandesigncollective.com Human Design Collective Podcast music "As The Stars Fell Down On Me" courtesy of Anders Parker.
