Description

I am a student of language and literature. I have been reading, writing, and studying for most of my life. I received a B.A. in English from Fresno State and then went on to receive an M.A. and Ph.D. in English at Indiana University. I am interested in literature, philosophy, history and gardening. For the last 16 years, I have been a teacher at Peninsula College and, when not working, reading, or writing, spend much of my time in my garden.

The next installment of the rough draft of my translation of Thus Spake Zarathustra Book One. I'll record the commentary after completing the entire book and then on to Book Two!
A supplementary lecture for my American Lit class as we can't be together in the classroom. Not sure how coherent this will be for folks not in the class.
This short lecture covers a few aspects of Religion in America and how it has influenced our literature. I also have a brief overview of Indigenous culture on indigenous people's day. I'm not sure this will make that much sense for people not in the class.

I enjoyed your lectures a lot but then during French language, maybe because I'm French, they were a few mistakes. Starting with that quote from Charles de Gaulle that even my father never learned at school... and now the huge mistakes about Islam fast conquests (which was in fact mainly due to the no cast system appealing to the mass and the 'easy converting' practices) followed by the terrible errors on Genghis Khan which are a recital from old European and Soviet propaganda is such a shame. Very disappointed and unsubscribing. Just worried on what else I learned from you which wasn't true...
