Description
Two mediocre white guys, recall and review classic movies of the past and present. Try to imagine a conversation you might have with a 90s era video store clerk about what you should watch tonight. We WILL tackle films that won't often be discussed as Oscar worthy but are always considered entertaining. We will argue, agree and attempt to mimic accents of the most classic one liners and movie tropes. Come prepared to laugh and it is ALWAYS a good idea to listen after you have seen the film and not before.

Ollie convinced Nathan to try this movie and he actually enjoyed it!! The fellas dive into this dark comedy and debate whether it should or could be considered a horror film.
Nathan and Ollie welcome a new guest to the show this week. Brian joins us straight from the pickleball courts to dive into his FAVORITE Quentin Tarantino film, Jackie Brown. We go deep into the joy of this remarkable film.
The fellas revisit one of their favorite directors, Quinton Tarantino. Nathan and Ollie dig deep in to this early 2000's samurai inspired epic with Uma Thurman in the title role. The discussion eventually evolves into a reevaluation of their top QT films.
The fellas welcome back Chris to talk about the NEWEST version of the cult classic, Road House. Ollie is totally correct in his views and Nathan and Chris were both wrong.. Enjoy!!
This is a fun discussion as Nathan and Ollie actually went to see this movie together. We had intended to post this around the Oscars but life happened.
After a long hiatus, the boys are back to discuss ALL of the Dune films. Nathan’s brother and buddy are welcomed back for this fun discussion.
It is hard to believe but Nathan had actually never seen this classic 1984 adventure film. We talk about what made us nostalgic and how the special effects could likely have been achieved with the very first iphone. It was a fun movie and a fun discussion.
How did it take us THIS long to talk about the greatest mob movie of all time. Natan and Ollie found no flaws in this epic masterpiece and discuss how much a part of the culture this movie has become.
We hope you like random saxophone solos. There is plenty to be had with this late 80s buddy cop classic. This is for sure the first movie I remember that included Gary Busey and definitely not his best.
The fellas finally publish an episode where they discuss the BEST Indiana Jones movie by far. The most entertaining, the most re-watchable and probably the funniest of the bunch?
This is one of those amazing Arnold films that was hilarious and filled with awesome action. This also had one of the greatest Bill Paxton parts of ALL TIME.
After a couple of failed attempts to get together to talk about this AMAZING COMEDY, Nathan and Ollie finally tuck in to this hilarious movie. This might be the last great ensemble comedy that was made fearlessly. I hope we are wrong as it is INCREDIBLE and we wish there were more of these.
After TOO LONG of a break, the boys are back to discuss the 1997 franchise launching classic, Mission Impossible. We discuss how funny it is to see what the internet was like and especially how much of a novelty it is to have an inbox with 1 or no messages.
The fellas welcome back Tony and Ollie's cousin all the way from Scotland to discuss this game changing movie, Die Hard. There have been many attempts to capture this magic on a plane, a train, a bus, at the White House and yet nothing has come close to the most unfortunate company Holiday party of all time. Enjoy Nathan being wrong again about how this IS a Christmas movie.
Horror is not a genre that Ollie even enjoys but it turns out that Nathan actually studied it in college. In 1996 Wes Craven relaunched the category with this near flawless slasher film. When we both saw this movie, neither of us predicted the clever ending and the only negative we found was that this movie spawned TOO many sequels.
It is impossible to think this movie was made in 1981. Nathan and Ollie dig into the best parts of this Spielberg epic and talk about what makes this character and story so good. This movie could be released today and be just as successful. They didn't have CGI so they had to try to make great characters and story without all of the toys.
Nathan and Ollie go deep into the insanely silly plot of this 1993 Sly Stallone romp. We wonder how it is possible that climbing equipment that can hold over 1,000 Lbs failed while holding up a woman that might have weighed 120 Lbs?
The fella's welcome back our good friend, Tony, to discuss this Val Kilmer / Ron Howard / Warwick Davis classic. Tony does tons of great research on the history of this movie and he brings all the best stuff to the conversation.
The very first film we ever covered was the 1987 classic, Predator. Nathan and Ollie were thrilled to be able to revisit this character with the INCREDIBLE new Hulu film, Prey. We wonder why they didn't release it in theaters as the action and scenery is that good.
Not much needs to be said... this movie is incredible. We welcome Jason back to discuss it and were surprised to learn that he would have enjoyed it more if he actually knew it was about the Manson murders.
