Comedy never stops! And it shouldn't. On today's episode of my comedy and mental health check-in of a podcast, I'm joined by Karthik Raj. A native of Dallas, Karthik was also part of the Chicago comedy scene before coming to New York. Karthik and I talk about creating comedy sketches for social media, living in New York versus Chicago, long distance relationships, and how we view standing out in stand-up. Follow Karthik: https://www.instagram.com/karthikraj_/?hl=en Follow me: https://www.instagram.com/anthonysantino/?hl=en
On this episode of my comedy and "hey how are you doing?" podcast, I, Anthony Santino, am joined by writer, comedian, and friend, Lucy Sandwick! Lucy is a talented creative. She writes commercials, performs stand-up comedy, and she's a great person to have in your circle. We talk about open mics, modern buildings, Italians, and much more. If you like conversations that are smart and also reductive, this is the podcast episode for you. What a great episode! On this one, I'm joined by touring musician, and apparent legend, Tre Nation. Tre lives in my building. He's always a ray of sunshine, a great and positive person to see in a day, and on this episode we get into his life. As previously mentioned, Tre is a musician. He also may or may not have opened up for The Rolling Stones (seriously). Please listen to this one. We talk about creating art, being positive through life, relationship philosophies, and more. Fun episode! On this one, I chat with one of my oldest FRIENDS, Victoria Zezula. Victoria works in the financial sector(?) at the moment, but she's also an environmentalist and creative. We met while playing tennis as kids, and I'm proud of both of our growth in this world. We talk about how Victoria apparently doesn't see how I'll make it in comedy, a little bit about childhood memories, relationship philosophies, and much more. I did so much editing on this one because Victoria got multiple important phone calls and since my brain is fried, I'm skipping Time Codes this week. But it was great, and you should listen to this one!
A very special episode of my comedy and sometimes "how are you feeling" podcast (which isn't Andrew Santino's podcast, although shoutout to Whiskey Ginger). Today, I'm joined by one of my best friends since childhood, Tim Perdoch! Tim is a recording artist, audio engineer and great person. He's been there for me through important times in my life, and I'd like to think I've done the same for him. We talked about a lot: our lives growing up in Queens, New York; working with J Balvin and Queen Latifah; the range of rap and pop-punk music we like. We cover it all, and some good stories are woven in there. If you miss a friend, reach out to them! Tim and I keep in touch in that casual, "yeah we're both still here, and we're busy, and that's a good life" kind of way. This episode was maybe the best one yet! Maybe. I think so. I liked some others. Anyway. For this special episode of my comedy and maybe mental health, as well, podcast, I'm joined by Eric Asker. Eric is a comedian from not-New York who is hilarious and does the road more and more now. Eric and I talk about his recent road gigs with Sahib Singh, what it's like to be handsome and funny, and lots more. It's an interesting episode full of good laughs and stories from our lives. Some dating stuff in there, too, for the...dating people in the room? Yes. Follow Eric: https://www.instagram.com/ericaskercomedy/ Follow me: https://www.instagram.com/anthonysantino/
Another hot solo episode of my comedy podcast! I pushed through low energy to bring the heat. This one somehow turned out great. Comedic genius knows no bounds. Kidding. Am I? Maybe. I talk about a standup comedy road gig I did with Dan Carney in Manchester, New Hampshire, open mics in New York, how I’ve been trying to get more rest, Jimmy Carter is old, and more. Thank you for any and all support. Please follow me on Instagram and sign up for my email list! Love you, whoever you are. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/anthonysantino/
New episode of my comedy and somewhat mental health podcast, and I'm solo! But by choice this time. For sure. But yes, I am. And it was a fun, quick punch full of self-reflection and optimism. I talk about modern media and social interactions, how everyone can be a Jimmy Fallon or Kimmel of their own lives, stand-up comedy, and more. On this tenth episode of my comedy and sometimes/all-the-time mental health check-in podcast, "I'm Up with Anthony Santino," I'm joined by a special guest. In this episode, the topics of my stand-up comedy, Anthony Jeselnik, Tim Dillon, Carnegie Hall, speaking Spanish, and more are discussed. It's a quicker but special episode. The other episodes were special, but this one even more so. Why? No reason. I'm just tired and felt like writing that. I've only seen him do stand-up once, and he's still one of my favorite funny people in the New York comedy scene. Matthew and I discuss comedian beef, what it takes to write and like jokes, some talk about the big guys like Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld, our lives growing up in New York, and more. If you like comedy and two people who do it, this one is certainly for you. Follow Matthew: https://www.instagram.com/matthew_arevalo/ Follow me: https: //www.instagram.com/anthonysantino/
A solo episode today! I talk to you, and myself, about my life in New York comedy, how I feel about sleep deprivation and happiness, the competition stand-up can breed, and lots more. It's a philosophical one, I have bags under my eyes, and despite my busy schedule, this one came out to feel like a deep breath. Please like, subscribe and share this with your family. Sean, who hails from New Jersey, does some cool work. He hits the road with Mark Normand, creates videos and other content for Vayner Media (Gary Vaynerchuk) and he's also one of my friends in New York Comedy. What credits!
