Description

Twenty years ago, you met Luke Danes...backward cap, plaid flannel, pouring the coffee. For the VERY first time, Scott Patterson (aka Luke) is watching Gilmore Girls. 154 episodes and 4 movies. We'll visit Stars Hollow, Doosey's Market, Miss Patty's, Mrs. Kim's antique shop and more pop culture references than you can count. Join us whether you're Team Dean, Team Logan or Team Jess. And, we'll see if we can figure out "who's the daddy". We'll talk fast, and if you can smell snow, if Paris isn't just a city in France, and Friday night dinner is a requirement... you don't want to miss this. Finally, cell phones are allowed. Listen everywhere you listen to podcasts. I AM ALL IN, an iHeartRadio podcast.

Season 7 has us on a roller coaster of emotions. Licensed and Family Therapist Jonathan Decker analyzes Gilmore Girls, so we felt we need a session. The Lorelai/Christopher/Luke triangle is the topic. Is Christopher a narcissist or just selfish?  And, does Lorelai use her humor as a mask because she fears vulnerability? Analyze this and that! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Road Trip!!We’re along for the ride as the Gilmore girls are jumping in the Jag.We actually liked this episode even though it had a few flaws. Logan… romantic gesture or eye roll? Mia’s recast…we were disappointed and a confused. We’ve got inside tidbits and breaking news about the diner featured in this episode! And, a cake conversation you don’t want to miss!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

One on One: Emily Kuroda

Can you believe this is Mrs. Kim’s last episode?! The iconic Emily Kuroda joins the podcast.  Was she happy with her character’s final appearance?  And, she reveals  the best mother in the series.  Is Mrs. Kim happy the way Lane’s life turned out?  Plus, Emily tells us her theory on where Mr. Kim was for 7 seasons.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The baby shower was fun.  And, there were some really great Lane, Lorelai, Mrs. Kim moments.  But overall, it's not the best episode ever and we'll tell you why. But, we've got amazing bts just for you!  Scott has a story about the guy wanting steel cut oats that involves Lauren's bedroom!  Logan's fireplace is making us nervous.  And, we're talking about lettuce and hairdo that was causing problems! Plus, did you RUSH to see that cameo during the baby shower?  We've got the details.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Paging Richard’s Nurse Francette!  Treisa Gary joins the podcast to talk about going head to head with Emily Gilmore in Season 7, Ep. 15 “I’m a Kayak, Hear Me Roar.”  Plus, the very surprising way she started her acting career as an accountant at Warner Bros.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We had some real highs in this episode. Lauren Graham steals this ep with her performance! (And, congrats on your star!!) T.J. continues to make us laugh.Scott gives some good bts from those scenes. Emily and Lorelai really bonded over some hidden cocktails and book shelf nuts. We loved those moments. We had some lows.  Emily and Richard, we’re sorry to say, were a tad irritating. We would have actually loved more time with Mitchum, Logan, and Rory at dinner!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Our beloved Chin Chin… The dog memorial, although sad, provides amazing dog performances. Plus, great stuff for Zach in this episode. And, a musical foreshadowing. Rory’s crushing on her TA but is she overreacting and overacting? Bye Christopher.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This episode had us on a roller coaster of emotions.  Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore) really captivated us while still inspiring a debate about how she was acting and reacting to Richard's situation. But, the debate REALLY gets heated when it comes to Logan... Christopher, geez, where are you??!??! What were you even doing that kept you from the hospital? On the other hand, Luke had only good intentions. (Sally Struthers (Babette) was another bright spot in this episode.) Paul Anka's dog acting was award winning on that porch.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We’re more than halfway through Season 7, and we hope you agree these episodes are getting better and better!   París proves she really is a good friend to Rory.  And, happy to see Lucy’s conflict with Rory resolved.   The vasectomy stuff has us all saying hmmmmmm.   Luke deserved to win but we have some questions about his day in court.     There is something about the timeline in this episode that has us all questioning things.   Is Christopher overreacting or accurate?   To Whom it May Concern… we love that letter.   The end of this one, though. Tough. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Merry Christmas everyone!Well, we are all celebrating after Christmas actually. Great episode.Luke, Lorelai, Rory and April have a wonderful scene together and we realize they are the family we want to see. Zach is impressing us with his almost-a-dad skills. Gigi should not be using a needle to string popcorn! We loved it, did you???See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

it seems pretty likely to me that Scott had/is having an extra marital affair and feels very justified in doing it.

Emily is so upset by the presence of Trix because she treats her like shit!! and Richard goes along with it. She's freaked out because they bully her and verbally abuse her, that's their dynamic. She doesn't want the demise of her mother-in-law, she just wants some peace and to be left the hell alone. Maybe she's triggered by her because of past trauma. People aren't in control of their emotions, she feels the way she feels. And we all know that Emily is not going to go to therapy to deal with these issues. Sometimes people, no matter the age, regress back to a younger age when they're triggered or around certain family members. Trauma is not logical, it's primal, unconscious! Trix is terrifying, I don't blame her for not standing up to her. You may need to be reminded that not everyone reacts to a situation in the same way as you and maybe look into psychology a bit. Paris needs to be institutionalized!?!? For what? Being awkward or weird? Needing connection? You continually make fun
