Chelsea and Donny have collected clues, followed the trail, and learned some things about themselves along the way, and in the series finale of “The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley,” the twins travel to the edge of the world to help some full-blown freaks with a UFO sighting. When the mystery turns out to hit shockingly close to some current events, Donny and Chelsea wonder if the Olsen twins are like the Simpsons - should we be watching these movies in order to predict the future? Then, Donny shares his first attempt at activism and when the twins (one of which is now randomly freckle-faced) find themselves at a navy base, Chelsea gets political. With the day saved by the Olsen twins and the US Navy, Chelsea and Donny solve their biggest mystery yet: what they’ll be covering during season 2 of “I Am The Cute One.” All of this and so much more in the season one finale, “The Case of the United States Navy Adventure!”Follow us on social media!Chelsea: @ohnobravo Donny: @realdonnywoodThe Dipp: @thedipp
It’s Christmas in July, and Donny and Chelsea’s stockings are hung by the chimney with care in hopes that this week’s case is better than the lackluster SeaWorld and volcano mysteries they’ve been cursed with recently. While “The Case of the Christmas Caper” proves to be a little too butch for Donny, the (bigoted) twins deliver QUITE the mystery when the North Pole is subject to a computer hacker that leaves the girls (and Elizabeth!) on the naughty list! Also, as a holiday treat, Chelsea reveals who Dr. Bald is while the trenchcoat twins reveal who Roger E. Bencozes is. All of this and more in “The Case of the Christmas Caper!”Follow us on social media!Chelsea: @ohnobravo Donny: @realdonnywoodThe Dipp: @thedipp
In “The Case of the Volcano Mystery,” the trenchcoat twins head to the Gulf of Mexico to help some marshmallow miners with a monster problem, but — spoiler alert — as the title suggests, it’s not a monster at all, but a volcano. The dangers of volcanoes, tigers, and being alone in the jungle with three adult men has Chelsea bolting to her phone to call CPS while Donny dashes to his phone to check Grindr for the actor that plays the monstrously cute volcanologist. Then, Chelsea uses this time to audition for 'Last Comic Standing' while Donny alienates the volcanologists in the audience by judging their looks. Lastly, the hosts finally win the song game. Kind of. It’s the closest they’re going to get.
Donny and Chelsea are miserable to be covering this episode as they find the twins back at SeaWorld to cover their least-exciting mystery yet: singing sharks! While the sharks perform opera, country, oldies, and some Olsen hits, the twins decide they’ve reached their limit with capitalistic tendencies. Then, Donny and Chelsea stop pleading with Disney+ about their gritty reboot and take their pitch to HBO Max, which includes a budget increase and a Nicki Minaj cameo. Plus, a glimpse behind the scenes finds one of the twins slapping a PA to the ground, and Chelsea reveals her mother’s greatest fear. (It’s not sharks or pirates!) Donny and Chelsea are thrilled to be back in the attic after last week’s sham of a double feature and even more ecstatic that Lizzie, the only responsible member of the Olsen family, is back, as well! In their first case based on true events, the twins head to space camp in Alabama to assist NASA with a delayed shuttle launch. While Clue is begging for help in this episode, Donny and Chelsea are begging for a mystery more fun than the one at hand - aliens, dragon boogers, something! All of this NASA talk reminds Chelsea of Lance Bass’s dismissal from a space mission, and professional astronaut Alan Bean stops by to peddle some of his unrealistic beauty standards. Finally, this highly scientific episode leads Donny and Chelsea to reminisce about group projects that they, in a surprise to nobody, took off the rails and introduced chaos to their classrooms. Fresh from a murder scene at SeaWorld, Donny and Chelsea are back to finish their double feature — this time on a Carnival cruise, where a family vacation goes very, very wrong. While the twins find time to solve crime between trips to the casino, Chelsea finds a link between the Detective Girls’ boss’ diarrhea and the “No Dolphin” warning on tuna cans. Also, Donny plans a shocking season finale twist for their gritty Disney+ reboot that reminds him of Muppet Babies. It’s the hottest day of the year for our trench coat twins, and Chelsea and Donny are cooling off by solving their first double feature mystery! The twins are headed to SeaWorld to swim alongside dolphins, terrorize the guests and discover a corpse! That’s right — this week, our eight-year-old detectives find themselves with a missing sister, a methed-up babysitter, $0.32 to their name and their first murder case. Mary-Kate and Ashley may have summer burnout, but Chelsea and Donny do not, and they’re here to solve “The Case of the Fun House Mystery"! The twins are working through summer vacation and are headed to the Tons of Fun Amusement Park to help some carnival workers with a severe monster problem, and with Donny’s microphone back on this week, he uses this as an opportunity to tell a tale of third degree burns he once received at the hands of a toddler. Chelsea sees his sunburn tangent and raises him some chaos to educate him on the phenomenon known as Monkids. Then, Chelsea’s theory of Madame Zelda kidnapping the twins to place them in a freak show, while wrong, leads Donny to present her with a business opportunity. All of this and more in “The Case of the Fun House Mystery!”Follow us on social media!Chelsea: @ohnobravo Donny: @realdonnywoodThe Dipp: @thedipp
Chelsea and Donny are recapping this chore of an episode so you don’t have to watch it! In this 30-minute commercial for the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel, the trenchcoat twins leave ghosts and dragons behind to help crack the case of missing valuables at a tropical resort. While Mary-Kate and Ashley ditch the supernatural this episode, Donny ditches his microphone, but sound issues are apparently the name of the game this week as the editors introduce some zany TikTok-style editing. Then, Chelsea shocks her co-host with tales of the 16-year-old demon she once was. Donny and Chelsea spend the remainder of the episode brainstorming plot points for a gritty reboot, and they end the episode particularly proud of their 30-something selves for solving a children’s mystery early on. Chelsea and Donny are back to help the trenchcoat twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, solve “The Case of the Logical I Ranch!” As the twins take a very convoluted path to Dead Gulch, USA, to help some cow-fearing cowboys with their dragon problem, Donny and Chelsea spend their time fearing for the girls’ safety when they’re introduced to one of the most unhinged characters in cinematic history. Chelsea takes a break from the mystery to share stories of the Grinch-like behavior of her youth while Donny shares the most memorable lesson he’s ever learned from '7th Heaven.' Although the episode triggers Donny’s anxiety and Chelsea’s motion sickness, they push through, with Chelsea discovering a way to tell the twins apart and Donny introducing a new game for the podcast! Then, the hosts experience the most jarring final minutes of any film you’ll ever see. Chelsea and Donny are here to solve any crime by dinner time! This season of 'I Am The Cute One,' they’re recapping the Olsen twins’ mystery series, “The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley,” which is available in full on iTunes so you can watch along! In “The Case of Thorn Mansion,” the trench coat twins solve a Transylvanian ghost mystery while Donny and Chelsea kill time before shaving the rest of their head and putting their dishes away, respectively. They also discuss the bravest thing they’ve ever done and Donny’s irrational fear of… everything. Then, an Elizabeth Olsen cameo leads to memories of how Chelsea’s reactions to celebrity sightings leave her husband, Dr. Bald, concerned. The hosts can’t wrap up the episode without discussing the lack of parenting for the twins and whether these girls commit more crimes than they solve. All of this and more in “The Case of Thorn Mansion!”Follow us on social media!Chelsea: @ohnobravo Donny: @realdonnywoodThe Dipp: @thedipp
