The first is titled, “3 Designers Talk 3 Ways to Utilize EC3,” by Lona Rerick, sustainable design leader and architect at ZGF; Marty Brennan, architect, sustainability leader, light health researcher and mass timber enthusiast at ZGF; and Charlotte Jolly, an interior designer at ZGF,” was published online on January 29th. Meet Our Guest: Amber Pickett Wernick, director of practice development, Perkins&Will, Dallas Award-winning interior designer and strategist Amber Pickett Wernick joined the Dallas studio of global architecture and design firm Perkins&Will as director of practice development in June of 2023. Wernick, a Dallas native who worked for Perkins&Will between 2008 and 2015, returned to the firm to play a key role in client engagement, identifying new opportunities that grow the studio’s interior design practice. As director of practice development, Wernick oversees all phases of interior design projects while nurturing client relationships and fostering collaboration. With an emphasis on research and innovation, Wernick develops design solutions that align with the social, cultural, and functional goals of each client. She also serves as a leader in the studio, working to support and advance the development of fellow designers.
