The argument your autistic ass keeps getting stuck in

Your therapist has identified what she has come to identify as "THE Autistic Fight" - the argument loop that autistic people and their (usually) non-autistic partners get stuck in again and again. The baseline of her research? Working with autistic clients, discussing with autistic friends, and fighting with me, ya boy.

Make 2024 your b!tch

We're back! Your therapist Ash has a great alternative to New Year's resolutions: themes. She picks a theme for the year (like "family" or "boundaries") and focuses on that theme. It's a cool alternative to a resolution that you're not going to keep anyways, and it's a helpful way to add some purpose and context to your plans for 2024.

ok. new here. I would hate it if my wife thanked me for doing things around the house. I thank her, though, because for some reason she needs that validation. if you want me to take out the trash, just ask me. if you start bringing in feeling about the trash, I will tune you out. I would never say something to my wife about l, let's say, taking out trash or doing laundry or . Why not? if I have the time to develope feelings about dishes, I have time to just DO the dishes. so I do them, and move on with my day. perhaps I am just a Neanderthal .
