And so, dear Fridgies, we come to the end of not only our deep, deep dive into the Salem Witch Trials but also of Season 7 of I Think My Fridge is Haunted. We've revelled in creepy history, campaigned for the safety of women, and failed to press Record more than once. What a ride. But it's not over yet - strap in for the final grim details of wicked witchy Massachusetts. Lana and Gemma will be back after a well earned rest. Until then, fellow creeps.

The Fridgies are back in Massachusetts for Part 2 of the Salem Witch Trials. This week we investigate the actual trials though really that word needs to be in big fat quote marks like this: the "triiiiaaaals, cough cough" of the poor (literally) and vulnerable members of Salem society. An absolutely astonishing story. Get it in your ears.

This week Goody Lye and Goody Lunacy delve into Part One of their epic telling of the Salem Witch Trials. Spoiler alert - there were no witches! In this episode we get an introduction to some of the main players in this diabolical case. Tune in next week for Part Two where we will get into exactly who these 'witches' were. Plus Facts from the Freezer!

The Fridgies head back in time this week to visit the most vengeful wife since Boudica - Olga of Kyiv. You do NOT want to cross this woman - forget living well being the best revenge, apparently you should become ruler, murder your enemies in a dozen creative ways then raze their city to the ground. And then get made a saint. What a woman. Plus Facts from the Freezer!

Hi Fridgies the important topic of family violence continues this week with the story of wrestler and family annihilator Chris Benoit. This is a story that has cut Lana to the core, so please heed the trigger warning if you're not in a good space to hear it. We discuss family violence, violence against women and the impact of acquired brain injuries. Plus Facts from the Freezer. If you need support please reach out to www.1800respect.org.au.

This week's episode comes with a large trigger warning for domestic violence and violence against women. The Fridgies believe a vital part of our role as podcasters is to cast a spotlight on cases that go unreported, in the hope that we can help bring justice for forgotten victims and a better understanding of the impact of domestic violence. Case numbers are rising globally and we have had enough. If you need support please reach out to www.1800respect.org.au.
Also huge apologies for the quality of the sound and huge thanks to clever Gemma for rescuing the episode from the auditory bin!

The Fridgies are gearing up for a short mid season break so things get a bit giddy this week with very special guest Aleksandra the Great! Everyone shares some of their favourite haunting stories, giving us the best kind of shivers. It's Australian Gothic. We'll be back in a couple of weeks with the rest of Season 7. Until then, be creepy... well you know how it goes.

Welcome back for Part 2 of Gemma's deep, deep dive into the trial of Schapelle Corby. Gemma, Lana and special guest Rebecca Wood discuss the alarming impact of media, politics and quality of representation on the outcome of legal trials. Not new information but it certainly wasn't being discussed widely at the time of this trial. What a mess.

Frequent Fridgie Flyer Rebecca Wood is back on the show to join this week's deep dive into the story of Australian Schapelle Corby's conviction for drug smuggling in Indonesia. It's such a complex tale that we only get as far as her imprisonment in this episode, leaving us with more questions than answers except for the question of who the best driver to hire in Bali is. Top tip, Gem. Plus Facts from the Freezer! Part 2 next week.

Welcome back to The Plague(s) Part the Fourth. There will be quackery, skulduggery and phlegmy humours aplenty. And to those of you who cry "Surely four episodes about plagues are enough?" we reply "WANDER AND PERISH, for this is the realm of the Lady Gemma of Fridgerton and she will not be stopped." Gemma and Lana are ringing the bells and strapping on their beaked masks for lo, 'tis time to head to the 17th century and the Great Plague of London. Plus an unnatural amount of discussion on who got beheaded and who got dug up THEN beheaded. History is a delight. Plus Facts from the Freezer!

This week Lana reports on an emotionally harrowing case that took place in Chowchilla California nearly 50 years ago when gunmen kidnapped a bus full of school children. Please be warned the case involves harm to children ("But it has a good ending!" - Chris, Producer). Yes, Chris, yes it does. Plus Facts from the Freezer.

Welcome back Fridgies, this week we dive into the deeply unpleasant story of an equally unpleasant man who almost got away with killing two of his wives and is now walking the streets of Australia again. In a horrendous year for incidents of violence against women, we want to bring to light those women whose stories go untold. Thomas Keir described himself as unlucky. Gemma described him as a dick. Gemma for the win. Plus Facts from the Freezer.

Welcome to Season 7 of I Think My Fridge is Haunted! It's so nice to see you here. And hell's bells, Lana is kicking off the season with the Hellfire Club! Not the DND group, it's a bunch of 18th century ne'er-do-wells who may be the great grandpapas of internet trolls. Rakes, cads, we've got 'em all. Plus Facts from the Freezer!

Who killed Marea Yann? This week is Esther's final studio week, so what's more fitting than her own true crime story? Esther reads from The Australian Magazine's 2021 article written by David Murray, focusing on the tragic murder of Esther's Nonna, Marea Yann. If you have any information on this ongoing murder investigation, please contact Crime Stoppers.
