The Vine & The Branches

On Sunday, Charmaine offered some insight for this season with reference to John 15.  Jesus explains, in this chapter, that the reason why God repeatedly prunes us is so that we can bear finer and richer fruit. The key to this, as modelled by Jesus and the Father, is to abide in Jesus. We cannot bear the kind of fruit God desires without Him, and without love, our works have no meaning.

Living Freely in the Kingdom of God

I DON'T WANNA BE HERE

In Sunday's sermon, Aaron demonstrated how circumstances in which we feel underqualified can be incredibly valuable opportunities to grow. At times, we assume responsibilities that belong to God and aren't really ours, to begin with. Aaron made it clear that it isn't about us, but rather what Jesus wants to accomplish through us. All we need to do is be available, and God will handle the rest.
