First up, Chad goes deep with senior QB Austin Meyers. the two have a unique relationship as Austin grew playing football for coach Smith. The Wildcats have clinched the MSFA Mideast Championship and don't have to "share it" with anyone. Listen as the guys break down the title clinching win over Lawrence Tech. Then get ready for the Quest for the Red Banner as the guys discuss our rankings and records. Fred talks to 3 of the 4 senior captains and Jacob Lopez lands in the Senior Spotlight. It's less than two weeks until the players report!! So Chad and Erik thought it was time to start talking Wildcat football. It's that time of year where nobody but the coaches really knows what the team has coming back and even the coaches may not have a full picture of what some of the newcomers will bring. The Wildcats take to the road for the first time on the season and travel to a new destination, Judson University. Chad & Erik recap the week two win over St. X and get you prepared for the clash against the Eagles. Erik talks with senior middle linebacker Brock Thomason but dropped the ball on interviewing WR Isaac Smith. You'll have to wait another week to get the dirt on Chad! Arjun Lothe's 355 yards passing against St. X is the 4th highest single game total in program history.
Blame it on the tryptophan or the gluttonous amount of football ingested last weekend, but this week's episode has its struggles. Erik turned into a typical MSFA media member and forgot about Luke Bays existing. Sorry Fred. Then there are a couple editing issues. Luckily, Luke lined up two great interviews. First the Dad & the Grad speak to 1st 50 member Joshua McKenzie who was one of the few members of the 2018 roster to have any college playing experience. Joshua shares about his time at Georgetown, what brought him to IWU, and how his time with the program influences his pursuit of Christ's will in the world. Then we talk to current right guard, Ben Ziebarth in this week's player profile.
