How is this film so good? The script is great, albeit with some awkward dialogue, and it's easy to see how and why this movie was made. Nathan and Tyler might be late to the party with seeing this one, but you can bet they're interested in where the sequel(s) will go! Follow Nathan on: Twitter: @nathansmknapp Facebook: Nathan S.M. Toy Story 4 is now on Disney+, and it won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film... But Nathan and Tyler have some serious issues with it, specifically the contradictions and inconsistencies the film has with itself and with the previous three Toy Story films. Sparks are flying like a luck dragon, or maybe like explosive fireworks. Either way, this final episode of season 3 has a lot of tones, some obvious tension undercutting, and a musical number! Nathan and Tyler discuss these and other elements as the final instalment of our review miniseries... Or is it? Follow Nathan on: Twitter: @nathansmknapp Facebook: Nathan S.M. This episode has some really good moments which would have been even more impactful had scenes or dialogue from previous episodes been removed. The show also goes meta by embracing an analogy Tyler used during an earlier review. Oh, and there's some expected awful stuff in there regarding romantic tension. Nathan, Tyler and Luke had their reservations about a Joker origin movie, but somehow all ended up loving it! Despite what some critics or Twitter accounts would have you believe, there's a lot of really clever things going on in this film, a lot of questions to ask (but not answer), and a lot to laugh about inappropriately. This episode was unnecessary, sponsored by Burger King, and ends exactly the same as the previous one. Just add a laugh track, and it makes a perfectly awful sitcom. Nathan and Tyler go off on these issues and more in this review of the Emmy award winning series as it reaches one of its lowest points yet. Like, zoinks, this episode feels like a cartoon! Also, we're not sure if Eleven was reaching out an olive branch, or just using it to smack Mike across the face. All that and more in our discussion of Episode 5 of this tonal whiplash of a show. Follow Nathan on: Twitter: @nathansmknapp Facebook: Nathan S.M. Is this the best episode since season 1, or are the absurdities of Erica and the sauna introduction the worst parts of the series thus far? Odd how every odd numbered episode seems to be good, and the even numbered episodes are all terrible. All that and more as we discuss and review the third episode of Stranger Things 3! We were so hopeful for this season... While there's still some really good stuff, the awful is starting to seep through just like the upside down into Hawkins. Stranger Things 3 is here! Nathan and Tyler are going episode-by-episode to see if this third instalment can return to the greatness of the original, or at least provide redemption for the awful Stranger Things 2. So far, it's the latter, but there are more episodes to watch and there definitely seem to be some course corrections in progress! Follow Nathan on: Twitter: @nathansmknapp Facebook: Nathan S.M. M. Night Shyamalan's "final" film in his connected superhero universe is a bit of a mixed bag. It's fully Shyamalan which isn't always a good thing, but certainly not an outright bad thing. The first season finale of the first live-action Star Wars series is here, and it's pretty great! But we still have quite a few issues with this episode and we're still worried about the future of this series. Will Yoda's species turn out to be called Jedi? What's the deal with the dark sabre? How does Mando (Din) use the jetpack so easily? Follow Nathan on:  Twitter: @nathansmknapp Facebook: Nathan S.M. Chapter Seven of The Mandalorian gets back on the main story, but is still having trouble focussing on the interesting bits. Instead we get to see IG-11 coming back as a newborn droid learning to walk and gigantic mynocks stealing dino-horses. Follow Nathan on:  Twitter: @nathansmknapp Facebook: Nathan S.M. Bill Burr and a large supporting cast are here for the best episodic chapter of The Mandalorian thus far! But we still have a lot of criticisms about it including fireproof being and an illogical New Republic appearance. Follow Nathan on: Twitter: @nathansmknapp Facebook: Nathan S.M. The Mandalorian is now a cartoon. This episode, written and directed by notable Star Wars animated series veteran Dave Filoni proves that with its ridiculous opening space fight, insufferable droids, and the failed logic of its verbalized scientific explanations. Nathan and Tyler discuss their experience with Netflix's Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. After greatly enjoying Chapter Three, Nathan, Tyler, and Luke are really let down by this hugely-expensive bottle ship episode which seemingly has almost nothing to do with the greater story arc of the series and borrows heavily from traditional monster-of-the-week television.   Follow Nathan on: Twitter: @nathansmknapp  Facebook: Nathan S.M.
