Description

Impact the Outcome is a podcast where we delve into Haiti's inspiring stories, rich history, and immense potential through its diaspora. Each series is a journey into the heart of the people who seek to inspire, educate, and empower.

Through inspiration, we leaned towards our elders' wisdom via Haitian proverbs and history. We aim to showcase Haiti's profound cultural richness and historic resilience. Despite economic and political challenges, Haiti's culture remains vibrantly strong. Our segments offer insights into the nation's most prevalent proverbs, providing a window into the collective wisdom passed down through generations and highlighting the beauty and diversity of Haiti's tourism.

Through education, we will understand that our past is crucial for navigating our future. Our segments delve deep into Haiti's history, from the pivotal 1789 slave revolution to contemporary times. By embracing our historical roots, which are both deep and numerous, we can move forward with informed optimism and collective strength.

Through empowerment, our series will feature ONE-ON-ONE CONVERSATIONS with influential figures in the Haitian diaspora. These dialogues highlight personal journeys, challenges, triumphs, inspirations, and current passions, offering a platform for empowering stories that inspire and resonate within the community.

In every endeavor, Impact The Outcome is committed to amplifying different voices that embody the spirit and soul of Haiti, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of its culture, history, and people.

Creole is the most widely spoken and most developed of a large group of creole languages that are found today in all former French plantation colonies, including Louisiana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guyana and islands in the Indian Ocean In a way, Creole resulted from African slaves' efforts to speak the French that they heard when they arrived in the colony of Saint-Domingue (now Haiti).  Slaves came from all over West Africa and spoke many different languages.
Colin Kaepernick, a former quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, shocked the nation last year by taking a knee during the national anthem. For some, it is one of the most peaceful ways to express yourself. For others, refusing to stand for the national anthem shows disrespect for the flag and members of the armed forces. Therefore, is an ineffective and counterproductive way to promote a cause. David Frederick, host of Impact The Outcome and author of Lakay debated Jeff Noel, founder of Barbershop speaks and author Powerful Presenting on the subject. Listen to where they stand on the matter.

Before this month, just 18 such landfalls had happened in the previous 165 years (and never more than three in a single year). There have been only 33 Category 5 storms in the Atlantic since hurricane records began in 1851. Twenty-three of them have formed since 1961; 11 in only the last 14 years. We answered these questions:What is the current state right now? What is the current state right now? What exactly happened? Were we prepared? And what we should do moving forward…
