Either one of those, these high animal protein, high refined carbohydrate diets, these are the things that cause people to be fat, sick, and miserable. This is why we have this epidemic.” [6:16]   “When you’re in a ketonic state, you don’t feel hunger and as a consequence it helps people that are trying to do short-term weight loss. The problem is, what’s good for short-term weight loss isn’t necessarily the same thing that’s best for long-term health stability.” [24:38]   “Now, you might ask me, “Can people eat meat and still maintain optimum weight?” Absolutely. Cause meat isn’t a highly-fractionated, pleasure trap food… The problem with meat is it’s very concentrated, if you eat too much of it, you can have problems.” [40:28]   FOLLOW DR. this is a bold statement but it's just one women's opinion and just a matter of personal taste buuuut I I've been listening to Joe Rogan's podcast and Impact Theory and I personally think Tom is better at interviewing than Joe BECAUSE, Tom stays with the interviewee. Joe sometimes doesnt follow what the guest is saying which leads to some awkward situations where communication is lost and Joe completely misses the point. When Tom doesn't follow he straight up says that and finds some common ground, which keeps the interview flowing. The intros are also wat better and Tom has really strongly held convictions and knows who is 100%. He also doesn't think he is leading expert on everything and is willing to change his mind. Joe just kind of patronizes people and makes fun of them for believing something that seems a little out there. I think that trashes the interview. Great job Tom, there are people who believe you are the best interviewer.
