Corpsmen serving aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point partnered with the base’s Fire and Emergency Services Department to complete an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic course in March, 2026. Sailors assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Cherry Point completed the multi-week course taught by Daniel Whitehead, assistant fire chief of operations of Cherry Point FEMS.

Sailors serving aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point received training from Army veterinary specialists to administer first aid to four-pawed warfighters in late February, 2026. Corpsmen from Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Cherry Point partnered with Soldiers from the Veterinary Readiness Activity, Fort Bragg to learn the basics of Canine Tactical Combat Casualty Care, familiarizing themselves with the unique aspects of providing battlefield medicine to Military Working Dogs.

B-roll of helicopters assigned to the 101st Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) transported Soldiers and equipment, including Infantry Squad Vehicles (ISV), during Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) 25-07. This air movement represents a large-scale, Long-Range Air Assault (L2A2) that moves a brigade's worth of combat power over 500 miles in one period of darkness, going from Fort Campbell, Ky., to Fort Johnson on May 5, 2025.

This edition features stories on the progress of the IA's ongoing mission to become self-sufficient, an operation led by coalition forces to reestablish security in the Diyala province, Soldiers traveling to remote areas of Afghanistan to promote good will, the efforts to use words rather than force by coalition forces to secure Tikrit and a service member who risked his own safety so his fellow Soldiers could receive medical attention.

This edition features stories on the Iraqi army taking control of their own security from Coalition Forces, the U.S. sending humanitarian aid to the Republic of Georgia, female Marines providing a voice for women in Afghanistan, a historic ground breaking ceremony in Baghdad and a marine who is an inspiration to other service members.
