Did you know that you can wait on God incorrectly? This year, one of the greatest lessons God has been teaching me is about my heart posture and my attitude while I wait. In this episode, I share some of the revelations I have received, that have been able to sustain and enlighten me during my waiting season. In episode one of this podcast, I shared that I am learning that peace does not mean to be in a place where there’s no noise, trouble or hard work; but peace is being in the midst of all those things and still being calm in my heart. However, it's important to note that this kind of peace can only be achieved through Jesus Christ. (The Lord is Peace - Judges 6:24) This week, we look at scriptures that talk about God's perfect peace, and how we can welcome this peace to guard our hearts and our minds. In one way or another, we've all dealt with rejection on various fronts. What I've found is that rejection—whether it comes from family, a turned down job application, a sabotaged opportunity, or a broken relationship—hurts the same. In this episode, we look at some people in the Bible who also experienced rejection, and we also get to redefine what rejection really means and the purpose it’s intended to serve in our lives.  I hope you find this episode life-changing. I don’t know about you, but my journey of faith has been one filled with highs and lows, pain, victory, grief, joy, growth, redemption, and everything in between. In today's episode, I share my experience growing up as a pastor's kid, my struggles with identity crisis, and where my relationship with Jesus currently stands. Even though my journey has been quite the roller coaster, I wouldn't change a thing about it because it has all shaped the person I am today.
