In the daily round up, we summarise the 5 games that were played last night. Liverpool ease to a confortable victory against Crystal palace with a 4-0 win. Manchester united have thier first hattrick since 2013, with Martial helping the reds to a 3-0 win. Newcastle were held to a draw thanks to a last minute aston villa equaliser, and both everton and wolves came out with 1-0 victories.
Two games today which had Tottenham having to win in order to try and push for European football and Brighton facing Leicester. Kane scores after his return from injury and Brighton hold for a draw. We also take a look at the back pages, where Mikel Arteta could look Guendouzi on, as his antics may be becoming too much.
Only one game of football today, however Manchester City's dominant performance gives plenty to talk about. Foden finally looks to be making his mark on the city team, while a 5-0 loss looks worrying for Shaun Dyche's Burnley. Plenty of transfer rumours circulating, with Liverpool bidding for Koulibaly and wondered Lautaro Martinez could be on the move to Barcelona.
In this episode we talk about the merseyside derby, with Everton holding Liverpool to a 0-0 draw. A Sheffield red card meant Newcastle ran away with a 3-0 win, notably Joelinton finally breaking his goal draught. After Aston villa were 1-0 up, Chelsea scored twice to take home all 3 points. We also discuss contract extensions, with Joe Hart out the door and Matty Longstaff having his head turned abroad.
In todays daily round up we discuss the Arsenal upset, with the controversial Maupay collision with Leno, as well as the striker last minute winner. We work which which of the injury time screamer was best between Watford and Leicester and also give our thoughts on Wolves and Crystal palaces comfortable victories. We wind down by reading through shaws interview with Pogba impact back in the team and finally Jimenez good form peaking the interest of the European giants.
Football is back on our screens with Manchester united settling with a draw up at Tottenham. De Gea's mistake was a big talking point for Roy Keane, and we give our opinion on the goal as well as both penalty decisions. We also shared our thoughts on Southampton comfortable 3-0 victory against Norwich, with Danny Ings adding another goal to the tally.
There's no football today however big news with Timo Werner being officially announced and Ryan Fraser rejecting a contract, there's much to discuss. We also cover the big games coming up the weekend such as Tottenham vs Manchester united & Everton Liverpool. The championship also returns over the weekend with Fulham and Brentford going head to head.
