In this episode of In Times of Change, Building Roots concludes their recollection of navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. This final episode is filled with personal stories which tug at the emotions & are contextualized by innovative ideas for collaborative means of developing social cohesion and resisting the impacts of food insecurity. This series of interviews was conducted with the team members of Building Roots, Community Members, Supporters and Community Partners from across Toronto. Building Roots would like to bookend this series by noting that without these people, and the overwhelming support of many, initiatives like ours would not be able to become reality. Thank you. In this episode of In Times of Change, Building Roots sets the stage for how the pandemic affected the Moss Park community & their grassroots operations as a whole. Building Roots operates the Moss Park Market within the community located in Toronto's Downtown East & offers services and programs at locations across the city.
