In this edtion, Chinese films are ruling the box office this summer; a play Twelve Angry Men has been put on stage in Beijing; a bilingual children's musical, Five Fools, which has been highly popular in South Korea, will make its China debut soon; since Beijing has won the bid for hosting the Winter Olympic Games, we'll celebrate by playing some of the songs written specifically for the event.
On this edition, the world-renowned musical, the Phantom of the Opera, will make its debut in Beijing this November; "The Beatles, Tomorrow" exhibition features the idols' images and detailed stories for fans in Shanghai; an American artist has exhibited how he accomplished Chinese landscape paintings with rope;  and a retired US army officer says Chinese and Americans need to learn how to find a middle ground like their forefathers in WWII.
On this program, New York Philharmonic Orchestra has headed to Shanghai to carry out their residency cooperation at the Music In the Summer Air music festival;  a classic play, The Field Of Life and Death greeted audience once again on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the success of the War against Japanese Aggression; and a children's play "Mermaid at the East Sea" has been staged as the opening performance for the 5th China Children's Theatre Festival.
In this edition, we'll take a look at the rapid growth of the Chinese musical market, an exhibition titled "light encoded paintings" featuring the artworks of Li Yvshuang, a puppet play "To Fly Red-crowned Cranes" which is based on the true story of a girl sacrificing her own life to save the cranes. We'll also introduce you to a book "Pictures Must be Miraculous".
An exhibition at the Capital Museum reveals the 3060-year history of Beijing; How Chinese film schools are doing to prepare students for China's ever changing film market; We'll also check out a four-episode documentary, entitled "Truth and Denial: Germany and Japan's Postwar Redemption". The documentary was aired to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Second World War. At the end of the show, we'll review a book, "The Hairstyle of Pan Jinlian" or in Chinese, "Pan Jinlian De Fa Xing" , which may help us to take a glimpse at the temperaments and daily lives of ancient Chinese people.

And also, the 11th Shanghai Book Fair has opened at the exhibition center in downtown Shanghai. We'll follow our reporter to see how writers from outside of China are promoting their works at the book fair. Our program will be wrapped up with a report on exploring the charm of a unique genre of folk music prevailing in Northwest China. First up on this week's program, the body of Minfanglei, which is "the largest of its kind of bronze wine-vessel ", has been returned to its homeland in central China's Hunan province, to be paired with its lid after nearly a century apart. We will take you to find out the twists and turns the bronze experienced. Following that, we will find out how Chinese film companies are trying to attract fans in Europe and North America, and how film has been embedded into the blood of Shanghai locals. Finally, we will read a book titled "The Zoo" by Fu Yuehui together.
Ranking as one of the largest film events in East Asia, the 17th Shanghai International Film Festival kicked off on June 14. So first up on today's program, we will take you to experience the glitz and glamour of the red carpet. We will also bring you the inside story of the Golden goblet jury. Following that, the world-renowned Madame Tussauds wax museum finally lands in the capital city of China. We'll take you on a tour of this world-renowned attraction. Next, young artist Zhang Wenrong opened his first solo exhibition in Beijing. We will explore how his paintings present people's inner world. And finally, it's reading time; we'll introduce you to the book "Stories from My Chinese Journey" by American writer Mark Levine.
