In the Zone

Life in the Heartland works to increase resident awareness of operations within Alberta’s Industrial Heartland. We communicate with the community on key areas related to industry projects and development in the region. Alberta’s Industrial Heartland is designated industrial zoned land covering 582 square kilometers northeast of Edmonton, Alberta. It’s home to over 40 companies producing and processing oil, gas, petrochemicals, and advanced manufacturing.
