I have written and narrated a new podcast for Wyn Studio. Inspired by great Hindu epics and hitherto unexplored aspects of Indian mythology, 'Heirs of the Pandavas' is a medieval fantasy action-adventure brought to life with amazing cinematic soundscapes. Here is a promo featuring an excerpt and details about where you can listen to the show. Details at www.indiannoir.com and @indiannoir on both twitter and instagram. Blurb: Several centuries have passed since the great Battle of Kurukshetra. The tales of valour and bravery and the triumph of good over evil from that time of gods and mighty warriors are just that…tales. Stories parents tell their children to instil bravery in them for they live in a cruel world. No avatar protects the lands of Bharat, as evil in the form of demons, sorcerers, bandits and despotic rulers and all manners of creatures that dwell in the darkness of hell are unleashed upon its innocent denizens.   2 souls walk this hell on earth. A brother and a sister, a warrior monk and a ranger, born in the lineage of Shatanika, one of the sons of the mighty Pandavas. They are on a quest to erase a curse upon their family. Nothing about this adventure will be easy. Heirs of The Pandavas is a WYN Studio production. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/indiannoir/message

A new series begins... The Trimurtis - Brahma, Vishu and Shiva, have shielded the domain of humans away from the rest of the universe; using their combined meditative powers to hold evil forces at bay. They have dedicated their eternal dreaming towards protecting their human devotees, which means no one can hail them, no one can conduct penance to invoke their help, no one can draw on their powers. They were lost to the rest of the universe.   But the universe was not just the domain of the precious humans who worshipped the Trimurtis. There were other worlds and other creations, some of them were even humanoid in their aspect. These helpless beings were exposed to the brutality of the vile legions of Asuras and were creatures called Danavas. Their oppressors were angelic and demonic entities that sought to conquer and subjugate planets and their population. Empire builders who sought glory in the expansion of their noxious base of power and the promulgation of their heretical beliefs in false gods.   Only the mercy of Indra, the King of Indraloka and his vast but finite forces stand between freedom and tyranny.   Angels and demons and mythic monsters battle across the stars for dominion over vast sectors of the universe, and we witness it unfold through the eyes of Shaurya Company, the most decorated retinue in the armies of Indra, the Lord of the Heavens.   Part military fiction, part epic fantasy – this series will explore how friendship, courage and the willingness to sacrifice for the greater good can keep eternal darkness at bay. I had a very different assumption about horror and thriller podcasts before. But this show and Nikesh changed that. As soon as I started listening this podcast I was totally immersed and binged watched multiple episodes at once. The easily consumable format makes it more bingy. Most importantly the writing is superb and how can I not mention the gripping voice performance by Nikesh. You got yourself another fan sir. Thanks for producing this amazing podcast.
