Love this episode, as a Canadian I can tell you that a) you pronounced Mississauga perfectly, b) Canada most definitely does not have its sh*t together, and c) Jack Astor's is a national chain, known for its really good burgers, and the waiter's uniforms which each have a snarky comment or joke printed on the back.

Hi ladies, just found the show and I'm really enjoying it. This episode was bananas but one thing that I'm interested in knowing is if Mary's mom had any known history of mental illness. Maybe you mentioned it and I missed it but anyway. Great show!

It’s a shame you didn’t have more respect for Mary Vincent by calling her by her correct name without inserting the word fucking.

thank u for covering MMIW...I used to live in Missoula Montana...I am Native American, Ojibwa, and I have been hoping that people, outside the Native American communities, start realizing this is a HUGE issue and up until lately, has been largely ignored by the media nationwide...our people are plagued by stereotypes....all NA are drunks and chronic drug users...yes our people do have issues with substance abuse...especially on the poorer reservations. Our sisters who went missing, according to law enforcement, are off partying and will eventually come home, or they ran off with a man, or they overdosed, dui, in a jail somewhere....but don't worry....they will need money and come home. law enforcement, where I lived, had no intention of actually dedicating any man hours for the search of our loved ones...but the last couple of years has brought a little more attention to this tragedy that has affected alot of NA families. for the last couple years I make Xmas decorations that have the MMIW logo, red handprint, and donate to proceeds to MMIW...thank u so much for making this podcast. Sincerely, Kathy Kickingwoman
