Is there such a thing as an addictive personality? - Interview with David Bird
In this episode, David Bird and I talk about addictions and the concept of the addictive personality. David starts by talking about his own experience of drinking, what that meant to him and how he was able to let go of it. We then move on to talk about how an addiction can feel like a place of safety when we are running away from a (metaphorical) bear. And what happens when we turn round to look at the bear..
Please be aware that David does use some strong language.
David is a Transformative Coach and Hypnotherapist who guides his clients on a journey of self-exploration, self-realisation, and self-transformation. He helps his clients smash the shit out of anxiety, stress, depression, and over-thinking, and send their emotional baggage packing. They can then learn how to create a calmer headspace, more powerful connections with themselves, others, and their experience of life, and become more of the bright, shining light of authenticity they truly are.

Calling all Mum’s!!
Why am I calling Mums? Well, according to official data during the first month of the first UK-wide lockdown, "women were carrying out, on average, two-thirds more of the childcare duties per day than men".
Twelve months and three lockdowns later, a survey commissioned by the BBC in March 2021 suggested that this gender inequality has not lessened, despite both parents more often working from home. *
When my children were little, I remember constantly being on the go, always on the clock, and the internal chatter as I ran through my multiple mental ‘to-do’ lists.
Wouldn’t it be great to know how to do ‘working parent**’ with less effort and stress?
If your answer is ‘yes!’, then you’ll love the re-run of my Innate Wisdom Podcast interview with Katy Roser - a Clarity Coach and former primary school teacher. You’ll discover:
How we all already have wisdom and resilience – yes YOU and YOUR KIDS
Why it’s a waste of time to work on building wisdom and resilience AND how to just let them flow in you and through you
How to recognise synchronicity and wisdom in action
How amazing things happen when you stop getting ‘in the way’ of your kids’ own wisdom and resilience

**Yes, of course, Dad’s are welcome too!
In this episode Rob Morgan interviews one of his favourite Three Principles elders, Dr Dicken Bettinger. In a wide ranging conversation we learn how Dicken was first introduced to the principles and how this understanding has made such a profound difference to him over the years in his work with businesses and their leaders as well as in his family life.
For those people familiar with the Principles, Dicken needs little introduction. Dicken has a doctorate in counselling psychology from Boston University and retired from his psychotherapy practice after working as a psychologist for 31 years. Over thirty years ago Dicken met Sydney Banks who had an enlightenment experience where he realized the three principles that underlie all human experience. Dicken had finally found universal principles that he could teach to anyone. He was grateful to find something that was simple in nature yet had the profound effect of changing a person’s life. Dicken was able to learn directly from Sydney Banks and in 2008 he received a Certificate of Competency from Mr Banks authorising him to teach the three principles.
Dicken co-founded and was the director of a center in Vermont that was the first center in the Northeast to teach the Three Principles. He served as one of the original nation-wide Core Faculty and is currently a faculty member for the Three Principles Global Community. In 1996 Dicken joined Pransky and Associates, a Three Principle-based institute in La Conner, Washington. Dicken was instrumental in developing and teaching leadership and staff development programs for universities, hospitals, publishing companies, defense contractors, health departments, banks, and non-profit organizations. He teaches company employees what it takes to be resilient and agile in the face of today’s business challenges and rapidly changing environments. He mentors CEOs and their leadership teams in raising the bar on their productivity, teamwork, and business success. He also specializes in teaching individuals, couples, and families, as well as leading group seminars on the Principles and their relationship to psychological well-being.
In January of 2012 Dicken founded Three Principles Mentoring to guide individuals, groups, and organizations in deepening their understanding of the Three Principles. He offers 4-day retreats for individuals, couples and families; Skype distance learning programs; supervision; individual coaching; group seminars; and business consultation.

Men who are hard to reach: An interview with Wayne Fletcher
In this podcast, Sorrel interviews Clarity Coach, Wayne Fletcher. Wayne talks about what lies behind men's challenge to share their emotions and the pain they feel. While men may be very present when they are in action (fire-fighting or combat for instance), they often find themselves caught up in a thought-storm when faced with mundane domestic chores. A lifetime of unwillingness to open up can make men hard to reach emotionally. A sad, and preventable, fact is that suicide is the predominant cause of death in men aged under 50.
Enjoy this beautiful conversation with the enigmatic Dr Linda Pettit!
From psychologist to priestess @ heart. Psychology hand-in-hand with spirituality.
There's a common boundary between psychology and spirituality.
From the sudden death on Christmas Eve of Linda's retired Roman catholic priest husband to Linda's romantic journey into the Principles. Linda and Bill met on Valentine's day!

It's none of my business what other people think of me
We can get caught up in our thinking about what other people are thinking about us.
This can lead us to inaction or getting stuck. It can show up socially, in our businesses, in our work life, and in our personal relationships.
It can stop us moving forward and achieving what we want to achieve in our life.

Hello! My name is Gillian.
My coaching and therapies are all about you, but I realise that for us to work together successfully it will help if you know a little about me.
People describe me as being fun, confident and kind. I certainly do care, I have a background in nursing, midwifery and public health nursing so have had the privilege of caring for people at some of the best and worse times of their lives.
For a long time in my professional career I observed that there is no ‘health without mental health’. By this I am not referring to the absence of mental ill health but rather a sense of well -being and contentment with who we are free from feelings of anxiety, stress, low self-worth and overwhelm.
Although in my professional life I was successful and great at giving others (as is often the case for those in the caring professions) I often neglected my own well- being and under the apparently shining exterior I suffered with self-doubt and feelings of not being good enough which took a toll on my mental health and personal life.
I first discovered coaching in 2011 when I was at one of the lowest points in my life my brother was in the last stages of a terminal illness and I was going through a divorce. After much resistance on my behalf I agreed to work with a coach and it changed my whole life path.
In 2013 I studied my first coaching course and gained my level 7 Diploma in Life Coaching. In 2018 I decided to leave the Health Service, make coaching my career and undertake further studies in coach training. Last year I qualified as a Certified Clarity Coach with Jamie Smart and I am just completing my Advanced Clarity Coach and Practitioner Programme.
I see life as a gift and one for enjoying. I believe we all have innate ability to tap into our wisdom to experience wellbeing, love, creativity and happiness.
I live in the beautiful countryside of South Staffordshire. When I am not working, I love exploring the countryside with my Cocker Spaniel, Albert, drinking coffee and eating out with friends and creative pastimes of sewing, drawing and cooking.
Post Traumatic Stress and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder gets a lots of press. Yet Post Traumatic Growth is more common. What is Post Traumatic Growth? While it may be mistaken for resilience, they are not the same. Resiliency is one's ability to bounce back. Post Traumatic Growth occurs after experiencing a traumatic event. There is an inventory associated with it - the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory of trauma. The inventory is useful in "assessing positive outcomes reported by persons who have experienced traumatic events". The inventory scales 21 item ranging from New Possibilities, Relating to Others, Personal Strength, Spiritual Change, and Appreciation of Life.
"Women tend to report more benefits than do men, and persons who have experienced traumatic events report more positive change than do persons who have not experienced extraordinary events. The Posttraumatic Growth Inventory is modestly related to optimism and extraversion. The scale appears to have utility in determining how successful individuals, coping with the aftermath of trauma, are in reconstructing or strengthening their perceptions of self, others, and the meaning of events."
