Inner is Outer

My voice is the vessel through which my heart speaks its truth, which is why I felt inspired to create a podcast. The only way for us to connect is by being open and honest about who we truly are. We so often walk through this world bearing masks that hide our true selves, out of fear that we will be judged or won’t be accepted. This is a defense mechanism that blocks us from freely expressing ourselves and living in a way that feels natural and free. The more that people step into their own power and create from the heart, the less judgement there will be in the world. My suggestion for you while you listen to this podcast is to physically write down anything that makes you feel something. Be truly present with these words. Be truly present with yourself.

Fluid like a wave

Your sacral chakra is where your creativity lies.. your sensuality.. your ability to form relationships outside of your immediate family.. associated with the element water. Just like you can’t force a wave to act a certain way, creativity can’t be forced. You can’t force yourself into a flow state, where creativity is pouring out of your being. This episode is meant to inspire you to allow yourself to be fluid and open.

How will you live from this moment until your last?

Death is a relief because recognizing that there is an end to this life can allow us to live more fully and feel more deeply. We may not know what is going to happen in the future, but may we live in our hearts from this moment until our last. If you look at a sunset and imagine that it’s the last one you’ll ever see, maybe the colors would be more vibrant. If you look at your neighbor like it’s the last time you’ll ever see them, maybe you’ll be a bit more friendly. I share one of the moments where I was most fearful in this life as a reminder that you have overcome every moment of pain and fear along your journey thus far. Pain ignites transformation. What doesn’t physically kill us makes us stronger versions of ourselves.

Express to Connect

The only way for us to truly connect is by being open and honest. The words on this episode were pouring from my heart like a free-flowing river, and I share them as a way for me to let myself be seen. So, this first episode is an introduction into my view on: the world, releasing fear, and moving away from the ego and back to the heart.
