Today we sit down for the inaugural episode of Coffee N' Pixels and drink a hot cup of San Francisco Bay Coffee Fog Chaser Whole Bean in the Medium Dark Roast. All while playing one of the least known Game Boy Advance titles of all-time, Banjo Pilot. This game was positioned to be the sequel to Diddy Kong Racing, but when plans changed, we got a watered down version on the GBA.
This week we take a look at one of the most influential arcade games of all-time, NARC! This game was released by Midway and eventually made its way onto the Nintendo Entertainment System. It was one of the most violent games that was ever released on the NES at the time. This is about as true of an arcade port as you could get at the time in a home console.
For this weeks episode I decided to dig into my Nintendo 64 collection and revisit one of the best kart racing games on the platform. Mickey's Speedway USA was originally intended to be Diddy Kong Racing 2 but the plans at Rare changed. Nevertheless, this is one of the best and most underrated kart racing games on the Nintendo 64.
This week, I looked back at TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan on the original Game Boy. This game was released in 1990, and it was heavily influenced from the console games we'd seen before.
In this weeks episode of the podcast, we look at Chester Cheetah: Wild Wild Quest on the Sega Genesis. This was one of those quirky platform games released on the Genesis in the consoles heyday.
Sega GT was a quick cash grab by Sega to replicate the success of Gran Turismo on the Dreamcast, but I still highly favored this game and it continues to be one of my favorite Sega Dreamcast titles. This is the honorary first episode of Relive The Games.
