INSIDE EDITION FOR 10/2/2026 It's at the center of the story dominating the headlines — the frat house where a Cornell student says she was drugged and gang-raped by seven frat boys. It's been closed down, and we haven't gotten a look inside until now. Andrea Grymes has our report. Next, the investigation continues into why two lethal injections didn't work in what was supposed to be the first woman executed in Tennessee in 200 years. Christa Pike is on death row for violently murdering her classmate 31 years ago. Now the mother of her victim is sending out a strongly worded message after the execution failure - she wants to kill Christa herself.  And it's war between actress Halle Berry and her ex-husband, who's the father of her now 12-year-old son. He's just been granted a temporary restraining order against the Oscar winner after claiming she attacked their son. She denies his allegations. Finally, the sister of O.J. Simpson's slain wife Nicole is on a mission. Her sister's dysfunctional, and often violent, relationship with O.J. is well documented. Now, more than three decades after the so-called trial of the century, Denise Brown is speaking out, hoping to help other women avoid the same fate as her sister. Jim Moret has the details.
She's still alive! Things definitely did not go as planned at what was supposed to be the first woman executed in Tennessee in 200 years. The two lethal injections administered to her did not work. So what went wrong? Justin Finch has our report. Then, the alleged drugging and gang rape of a Cornell student is touching a nerve with women across the country. Many are taking to social media, delivering four words — "I am Jane Doe" — showing support and solidarity with the woman who says she was assaulted in a frat house. Alison Hall has the details. And, it’'s one of the most iconic tourism slogans in history — "It's Better in the Bahamas." But this woman probably doesn't agree! She was on vacation when she says she almost died after being swept away by rough surf while taking a walk on the beach. Finally,  wedding day disaster. Look at the face of the mother of the bride, battered and bruised after she took a spill, landing on her face. Now it's up to the makeup artist to perform a miracle.
Major disaster avoided. An entire plane broke out in applause after a serious scare in the air. Authorities say a co-pilot attacked the pilot, trying to crash the plane before being subdued, leaving a passenger with a bloody face. Now, as Steven Fabian reports, many are asking if it could happen here. And the alleged drugging and gang rape of a Cornell student by seven fraternity members is shining a light on sexual assaults on college campuses. The Cornell incident reportedly happened during what is known as the “red zone,” the start of the fall semester, when the majority of attacks on college campuses occur. As Justin Finch reports, the statistics are shocking. Plus, heart-stopping video shows a surfer getting caught in monster waves and slammed against rocks on the shore. Today, the surfer is beyond thankful to a mom who was taking a relaxing stroll along the beach before her teenage daughter’s birthday party when she jumped into the water fully clothed. And there is a huge development in the story we brought you about a woman who got the shock of her life when she learned her late father’s caretaker took ownership of his house. The caretaker has now been arrested and charged with perjury, breach of trust, and exploitation of a vulnerable adult. The late man’s daughter couldn’t be happier.
Lindsay Clancy was back in court for the first time since her case ended in a mistrial 25 days ago. Her lawyer dropped a bombshell that the murder charges should be dismissed because she never confessed to killing her three children, and there's no evidence to prove it. As Ann Mercogliano reports, this all comes as the lone holdout juror speaks out on camera for the first time. Next, there's growing anger at Cornell University over the alleged drugging and gang rape of a female student by seven fraternity brothers. Now, shocking, just-surfaced texts between the alleged victim and one of the frat boys show him saying things got "way out of hand." Justin Finch is at Cornell with the latest, and we warn you some of the details are graphic. And, there's drama on another college campus - the University of Georgia. In a freak accident, this popular sorority sister, who loves to dance, was doing just that when she fell out of a window eight stories up. Miraculously she survived, leaving even her in disbelief. Jim Moret has the details. Finally, it’s the GoFundMe scandal involving an 81-year-old man delivering lost luggage to help his cancer-stricken wife. We now know things were not as they seemed. But were there clues in the video that something was amiss?
There's nationwide outrage over a scandal at one of the most prestigious schools in the country — Cornell University. The outrage has been building since a female student filed a lawsuit two weeks ago alleging she was drugged and gang-raped in 2024 by seven fraternity brothers. No criminal charges have been filed.  Now, the criminal investigation is being reopened and the district attorney says he will let a grand jury decide whether charges are warranted. Ann Mercogliano has the latest. Last week we told you about the outpouring of donations to a GoFundMe set up for an 81-year-old man seen delivering heavy luggage to pay for his wife's cancer treatments. Well, as Alison Hall reports, after questions were raised, those donations are all being refunded. Then, it’s being called one of the dirtiest plays in football. A USC linebacker hit Oregon's quarterback so hard that he suffered a concussion, leaving the game on a stretcher. But the big controversy is over what the linebacker did after the play — celebrating, as team doctors rushed to help the injured player. He later apologized but as Jim Moret reports, the quarterback's coach is calling what happened “disgusting.” Finally, it’s still really wet along the East Coast after a nor'easter brought high winds and a non-stop torrential downpour. The weather was a big dilemma for brides — many canceled, but others went ahead with their big day, even without the cooperation of Mother Nature.
