The Amelia Park – Blue Spec Stakes is the feature on the nine-event card at Belmont Park this Saturday and the Inside Running team of Darren McAullay, Scott Embry and Digby Beacham will be doing their best to find the winners. In the feature, Ginger Flyer ($3.10) heads the market from Phanta (($3.30), Savage One ($4.40) and No Apology ($6.00). It looks a tough race to dissect and even the noted stayers Tellem We’re Comin ($26.00), Stafford’s Lad ($51.00) , Taxagano ($41.00) and Brother Paddy ($71.00) are not without blowout claims. The whole day provides open and wide-open affairs, there is only race (at the time of writing) that has a favourite under $3.00, that is Advanced in Race 7 who is currently $2.20. He is a recent trial winner who does look hard to beat upon resumption. Join the team just after 8am for an hour long look at what promises to be a wonderful day’s racing. Best of luck with your wagering options and don’t forget to watch the action from Kununurra. It will be the first time that the country destination is broadcast on SKY (SKY 2 for races 1, 2, 3 and SKY 1 for races 4, 5,& 6). Join Scott Embry & Michael Heaton on Inside Running just after 8.00am as they dissect the nine-event card from Belmont Park, featuring the Furphy – Belmont Newmarket (1200m). Resortman is currently a $2.90 TABtouch favourite in a wide-open market. Nerodio, Hot Zed, Eeyore Wayz and Staralign are all under double figures in what promises to be a super race.  Earlier in the day, Comes A Time (Race 3) creates interest having his first start back from a spell. He looks hard to beat on exposed form, but the barrier will pose problems. Big Screen (Race 5) will prove hard to run down as he excels in a front-running capacity. In the final race, Ain’t No Other Man strips fitter following two runs back from a spell and at his current price of $11.00, he looks a fantastic each way bet. Best of luck with your thoughts on the day and don’t forget about the eight-event card at Broome, featuring the XXXX Broome Cup. Join Darren McAullay, Scott Embry & Digby Beacham on Inside Running Saturday morning at 8am for all the latest information pertaining to the meeting at Belmont Park. There are no feature races although we do have a $100k race, the Ngawyni Stakes, featuring a small field of just five runners. Wilchino is a short priced favourite who looks hard to beat on her best form. Eeyore Wayz could be the blowout horse as he excels on a soft track and will appreciate just four rivals. The traditional quaddie looks awfully hard with open races in each leg (Races 7, 8, 9, 10). Best of luck on a tough day. Inside Running hits the airwaves just after 8 o’clock every Saturday morning. In the H.G. Bolton edition this week, Digby Beacham, Scott Embry and Michael Heaton will be providing the analysis for the nine-event card that gets under way at 12.14pm. In the Bolton, Nerodio, Hot Zed, The Spruiker, Iseered, Iseered and Resortman are the runners currently under double figures. Nerodio won the Beaufine in splendid style> he has won on four occasions over the 1200m of Saturday’s race however most believe he is best served at 1000m. The traditional quaddie (Races 6, 7, 8 & 9) looks testing. Both races 7 & 9 are highlight betting races as the winner could come from anywhere within the field structure. It may be a case of loading up for a small percentage. Tune in, get the tipsters thoughts and then mesh them with your own thoughts and hopefully you will come out on the right side of the ledger.   Chapter 1 - Introduction Chapter 2 - PR1  (07:15) Chapter 3 - PR2  (12:00) Chapter 4 - PR3  (16:430) Chapter 5 - PR4  (21:15) Chapter 6 - PR5  (26:45) Chapter 7 - PR6  (32:15) Chapter 8 - PR7  (36:30) Chapter 9 - PR8  (41:30) Chapter 10 - PR9  (47:45) Chapter 11 - Best Bets (53:15)See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The three-year-old's clash at Belmont Park on Saturday, with the Listed Belmont Classic headlining a 10-event card at winter headquarters. Co trainers Ben and Dan Pearce will have high hopes for Black Fantasy and Outspoken Lad can repeat their first and second positions in the Aquinita Stakes. The meeting begins with a promising two-year-old worth following in the Free Entry To Belmont Park Plate over 1200m. Aztec Ruler for Stefan Vahala had an ultra-impressive win on debut and he looks hard to beat again. Later in race seven Capital Flight elevates to Saturday company after a winning hat trick at Northam twice and Belmont midweek. The three-year-olds are on display over the 2000m with the running of the Aquanita Stakes for the colts and geldings and the Belmont Oaks for the fillies at Belmont Park on Saturday. Unfortunately, both races are small in numbers. Black Fantasy is a short priced favourite to take out the Aquanita with his main danger appearing to be stablemate Outspoken Lad. One at odds to consider could be Fire At Will, who is a youngster on the rise. Searchin’ Roc’s is odds on the fillies event. This is her first attempt at the distance. Mystery Moment looks a serious challenger. The meeting doesn’t look easy so we can only hope that the Inside Running team can find the winners. Wet weather is with us and does that mean there will be some upsets at Belmont Park on Saturday. The highlight will be the running of the Group 3 Seacorp Hyperion Stakes, with a quality line up of 14 runners. God Has Chosen is a short priced favourite on TABtouch and rightly so following his brilliant win in the Group 3 Belmont Sprint a fortnight ago. The Heineken 3 Handicap (Race 4) is an absolute highlight race littered with quality. The question will be how much Mervyn gets away with whilst leading and could he do it all the way. The traditional quaddie is also very appealing as there is depth and the weather may just hold the key. Tune into Inside Running on Saturday morning when Darren McAullay, Digby Beacham and Scott Embry go through the big ten event card at Belmont Park featuring the Group 3 Furphy Belmont Sprint. A capacity line up of 16 runners should face the starter with Red Can Man a short priced favourite. The Steve Wolfe trained galloper deserves favouritism following seconds behind Elite Street in the Northam Stakes and the Roma Cup, both at Group 3 level. He has won over 1400m previously, firstly in the Fairetha as a 3yo and the following year in the H.G. Bolton Sprint. Valour Road, Platoon, Tellem Were Coming, God Has Chosen and Amasenus appear serious contenders. The meeting has plenty of depth and weather conditions appear perfect for a great day’s racing. Best of luck finding the winners, hopefully the Inside Running team can assist along the way. Once again it is a bumper nine event card of metropolitan racing at Belmont Park on Saturday. There are no true features on the day however the $100k SKY Racing Provincial Championship Final will create plenty of interest with a capacity line up of 16 runners likely to front up to the starter. Speed Dream looks a very shaky favourite having drawn very wide. Power of St George will have admirers, but he does have his quirks. Dark Assault won the race last year. Bourbon Beau and Rocky Path will have admirers at big odds. It will be a thrilling race. Earlier in the day favourites like Rev It Up, Hardly Ever and Alsephina look very hard to beat. Galactic Storm, mid-card looks well suited with the addition of winkers. Racing returns to winter headquarters Belmont Park on Saturday and the Inside Running team of Darren McAullay and Digby Beacham will be doing their collective best to find the winners on the nine-event card. The Group 3 PKF – Roma Cup is the feature of the day and racing purist will be salivating when assessing the capacity line up of 16 runners. Elite Street is a short priced favourite following his brilliant first up victory in the Northam Stakes on May 1st. Red Can Man was brave when runner up behind Elite Street first up. Valour Road, Samizdat, Nerodio, Notorious One and Kaptain Kaos all resume in this high-quality race. Kaptain Kaos is certainly at a big price; he deserves serious thought. The early part of the meeting has plenty of short-priced favourites who look hard to beat; Top Of The Pops (Race 1), God Has Chosen (Race 2) and Devoted (Race 3), all look hard to beat. It is the final day of the Ascot season of racing. The field sizes are relatively small but that doesn’t mean it is any easier to find winners. The Eurythmic Stakes (2200m) is the feature with the class runner Marocchino carrying 60kg. Sentimental Queen, prepared by Hayden Ballantyne, will start favourite following her last start victory in the Diggers Cup over the 1800m journey. Morton’s Fork looks the value runner following his brave effort in the Albany Cup when he carried 60kg. The weight drop of 5kg will be relished. It doesn’t look an easy meeting at Ascot on Saturday. Is it a day for favourites or could it be a day for roughies? The feature event of the day is the Listed Sheila Gwynne Classic, a 1400m event for the fillies and mares. Buzzoom is a short priced favourite in what appears to be an even race with the only true speed being Dee Keepa. Jadavi creates interest, having won the Pinjarra Cup at her last start, can she zoom home in the small field at double figure odds. It is a big nine event card, with the first set down for 12.19pm. It’s Derby day on Saturday at Ascot, with the three-year old’s on centre stage for the running of the $400 000 Group 2 event.  Alaskan God and Trix of the Trade are the two prime candidates from a betting perspective. The form of these two gelding’s going into this race is exemplary. Lady Chant, the Oaks winner, adds some spice to the race as she is obviously on the way up and proven at the 2400m. Pale Rider has had a catch-up preparation however he should be considered a strong each way chance in the staying feature for the three-year old’s.
