Let's talk some baseball!!! Chatting about The Dodgers, The Blue Jays, The Mariners and their fans and of course The Yankees! We'll chat about what LA and it's ownership is doing right for the team. We'll talk about The Blue Jays and their arrogance. The fact that people seem to forget that George Springer was on the Astros team that was cheating. I'll talk about Othani and his amazing performance in Game 4 of the NLCS (also his overall performance in the Post Season). Then I'll get into what Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman told us this week during their team presser. From Vople and his shoulder to Rodon and his elbow and more!If you'd like to find out about 9Strap Technology - CLICK HEREIf you'd like to talk with or set up hitting instruction with Matt Hallock and Hallock's Hitting Garage....send him a DMHis Facebook is HEREHere's his IG - CLICK HERE
The 2025 season ends in the same fashion that the 2024 season did, with disappointment. The Yankees were exposed by The Blue Jays. They were out played in damn near every aspect of the game.Changes need to happen this offseason. I'll talk about what changes I think we need to see. I'll break down the weaknesses of the offense, the coaching and more. Yes, I do have some positive things to say about the team but it's only about a few players. I'll also talk about the fans and their expectations.Get your athlete the 9Strap to help them at the plate - CLICK HERE
The Yankees were able to take out Boston in a 3 game Wild Card series and aside from the game 1 loss, the boys looked great! Let's talk about the series as a whole. The things that I loved about it and some of the not so great stuff as well. Of course I have to talk about the amazing pitching performance in Game 3 by Cam Schlittler!Hope you enjoy the episode. If you're interested in getting a 9Strap for your athlete you can CLICK HERE
It's the final day of the 2025 regular season and the AL East comes down to today! Game number 162 will decide is The Yankees win the division or if they have to play in a WC Series.I talk about that, I talk about all the things that I'm seeing from The Yankees going into the playoffs. I talk more about the season that Aaron Judge has had and the history that he has made. Yes, Cal Raleigh has had a historic season but Judge is now in a class that only has 3 people in it. Jimmy Foxx, Mickey Mantle and now Aaron Judge. What's that class? Listen to the episode.I'll also get into ABS coming to MLB in the 2026 season and I'll talk about George Springer saying one of the most insane things I've ever heard! There's a lot to unpack in this one so get to listening. As always, thank you for checking out the show.9Strap.com - there's the link to 9Strap Technology. If you have a young athlete that swings a bat at a ball, you need this hitting tool. Time once again to chat about this past week in Yankees baseball. The team is looking much better, granted they're playing teams that aren't that "good" but they still need to win the games and so far, for the most part they are. Bullpen has looked better, at least some of the guys, they're scoring runs and playing better baseball.Had to chime in on the A.L. MVP race which really isn't a race but that's what they want you to think. The "experts" say that it's between Judge and Raleigh but it's really not as close as they want you to think it is. I'll talk about that, break down some stats and also give my thought on hearing about "Aaron Judge fatigue".Hope you enjoy the show!I talk a little bit at the end of the show about 9Strap Technology. If you're interested in purchasing a 9Strap for your athlete here's a link for that - CLICK HERE
Sorry about having to take last weeks show down. I explain what happened in this episode! That being said, let's talk Yankees baseball. I'll touch on the Jays and Astros series. Get into a little bit about the series against Detroit and also game 1 against Boston.I lean heavy into how bad Aaron Boone is as the leader of this team. How badly he handles almost every situation on the field and off. His constant mistakes of playing guys that are injured and more. Anthony Volpe is just the latest example but he's done this to the team in the past. Thanks for listening!
The Yankees have won every game they played this past week but they're doing it against teams they're supposed to beat (which is good btw) however we're headed into some really big series against teams that are above .500. There are some things that I've noticed that need to be addressed by the team, they won't be but they should, including what Anthony Volpe is doing at the plate. Yes, we've seen some production from him but his AB's still look like garbage. Pitching has looked better, Austin Wells is starting to hit again, Big G is a monster and Jazz has been very solid. Oh and I'll touch on my quick trip to Boston for a concert.Let's talk about all of that and more in this episode!
Back from vacation and right back at it with another podcast about the NY Yankees!Oh sure, I'm going to talk a little bit about my time at Disney with the family but then it's right into breaking down all the nonsense that I'm still seeing with the Yankees. Bad baseball night in and night out. Their terrible approach at the plate, their inability to score runs when they don't hit the ball out of the park. The lack of baseball IQ and a whole lot more.Let's get into it!
On this episode I'll break down the Yankees series against The Twins and give you my thoughts about what I saw during each of the games. Decisions made by Aaron Boone that proved costly, what I saw in some of the at bats from specific players and more. I'll even give you some quick thoughts about their win over The Cardinals in their 1st game of that series.I also give you my thoughts about team metrics and how those can fool people into thinking that the team is something they're not. Same thing with Aaron Boone's record as the manager of this team.If you have an athlete that competes in baseball/softball please do them a favor and get them a lesson or two with Matt Hallock and Hallock's Hitting Garage! Let's talk Yankees baseball, shall we? Starting pitching needs to be much better! Our starters are not getting nearly as deep into games as we need them to be. They have to be better.I'll talk about Devin Williams and his struggles, what the guys at Old Timers Day had to say about the team and it's leadership, what I'm seeing from Jazz Chisolm Jr. and Austin Wells, Anthony Volpe and the hustle that he's been showing and more.Let's get into it!
Another week, another show! This week let's talk about what the Yankees were able to pull off at the trade deadline. They got some great arms to solidify the bullpen (minus the hiccup against the Marlins) on top of the MLB leader in stolen bases.I'm also going to break down Anthony Volpe and his recent power surge. Why am I seeing something different than what others are seeing? I go into depth during the show, don't worry. And I'll talk about the Yankees fans that are never happy with anything.Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy the show. Please like, follow, share, subscribe and rate it if you'd be so kind.Something on your mind about something I said? Shoot me an email - DScottRadio@yahoo.com or DM me on my IG or X - @DScottRadio
Another week, another Yankees filled episode. Thank you for checking out the show! Let's talk about some of the moves that the Yankees made this week. My lack of trust in the front office and their decisions and the fact that most, if not all, of their issues actually start at the top.If you're a Yankees fan, you're going to either agree with what I'm saying or think I'm an idiot. I'm fine either way.Enjoy!
Thank you once again for checking out the show!On this episode we start off with a happy birthday dedication to my youngest daughter who is celebrating her 18th birthday. I talk about my relationship with not only Madi but also with Robyn and Tara. Then I dive into being a part of the dress shopping that my girls had to do for the wedding. I talk about Tara and our relationship a bit as well. Then I go on a mini rant (or full on rant) about Aaron Boone, The Yankees and their ownership/front office. Please take a moment to like, share, subscribe, follow and rate the show, if you'd be so kind. Thanks!
Back after a week away, D. Scott recaps his week in Providence, Rhode Island and so much more! He's talking about his daughter's last dance Nationals, saying goodbye to competitive dance for his daughter, spending a few minutes with Nice and Smooth and then he gets into Yankees baseball. As you can tell by the title of the episode, he's not a fan of Aaron Boone. If you want to know his thoughts??Listen to the show. Hope you enjoy and thank you for listening!
Matt Hallock, the mastermind behind Hallock's Hitting Garage, joins the show to talk about some baseball and or softball stuff. Specifically, hitting. Things that you or your athlete should be doing before you step into the batters box and of course once you're in the box. From a coaching perspective, how to prepare your athlete for when they get in the box. Teaching them how to do the things that you're telling them to do. Practicing with purpose. From a hitters perspective, mental preparedness. Knowing the count. What it means to be aggressively selective. There is a lot to unpack in this episode so sit back and enjoy! To reach out to Coach Matt - Phone - (813) 937-1687DM on Instagram - @hhg_floridaFacebook - Hallocks Hitting GarageTikTok - @mattyhallock23
