With the new year quickly approaching, may we be mindful to continue moving forward in our relationship with God.  Yes, we may have had disappointments in the past; but God knows us and has destined us for greatness in him.  Yet, in order for us to experience God, the way he truly desires us too.  We must continue to hold firmly to our declaration of faith, for God is faithful. To this day the birth of Jesus Christ, continues to have effects on people in a profound and life changing way. This is truly a special and humbling moment knowing that the Savior of the world has come to save his people from their sins and the ability for us to call him Immanuel. We were bought with a price. When God’s light shines in our heart’s, it reveals our current state of living.  Even though it may appear dark, God will work in us and through us removing the darkness that has blinded us.  So that we may live in His marvelous light, that leads and guides us to remaining in His righteousness. When we cry out to the Lord our God, HE hears us. In fact Isaiah 65:24 tells us, “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” It is truly a blessing in knowing that God hears us when we cry out to him, yet it’s even better when his children adhere to God’s response. We are told in scripture that God is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. Meaning that God still touches the untouchable and when we hold on to His words within the Holy Bible. Don’t get consumed with the world and the things that are fading in this life; but allow God to restore you back to Him. For Isaiah 59:1 says, “The Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear.” For we all have a choice and our motives and actions within our hearts display the decision we’ve made. So today, make the decision to live the purposeful life God’s called you to live in Him and let God restore you back to Himself.
