This was really fun episode for me to create it. I had to jump around and back again from the younger days to high school. Please do not play this episode for your kids, they might get ideas from it. Unless you feel that they can learn from it. I will leave this up to you to make that decision. I have created this because of dealing with my son which he is now a Teen. OMG only to find that I am now in my own father's shoes. As well as going through the same stuff he did with me. Once again TIME has changed. When we get to 25 years of age we begin to forget when our little one's go to school, it's sometimes scary for them to cope with it. I had a shell shock experience and my own son helped me realize that I was just like my own father. Trying to help, but not even knowing that today, the world is much different then when I was in school 25 years ago. This is my experience of what it was like 25 years ago, as well as now my son's telling me that today we don't use paper anymore. Wait! What? Enjoy this ride with me cause I am sure you are going to remember what it was like for you as well. I love and miss you all, to all the students that came into my life. There are so many memories and so many good times, couldn't name everything. This episode was inspired by a friend what was a divine Intervention of contact. Shirley was trying to reach Anna, at my number. She had entered it by mere accident and got the show. I was really all excited thinking some listener somewhere over the rainbow, was contacting my show. On the other hand, I believe we now have became friends. Weird how divine intervention works.  So Shirley, you have helped me by creating this week's episode and I want to say thank you, and I have enjoyed our conversations I only hope that their will be many more into the future.  This is and was a fun time for me experiencing all the different cultures when I was really young. I only hope into the future I can do the same for my kids, having students come over from across the sea. This is what I was dealing with on the Fire, in Wrightwood, CA. I have Family that was in the line of fire. I was talking with them before it went out of control on sunday night.  I tried talking my Uncle to evacuate but he did not want to leave his house. Being 72 years old he was set in his ways and did not want to leave. I had lost contact with him on the cell phone monday morning at 0745 hrs. was no longer able to reach him. So I started down a second resource of mine that I thought might work, but would take some time. I knew that if I could get the word out to people up in wrightwood, that there was still people in the evac zone. At least someone could notify the Hotshot Crew, or the ground Engines that someone was there.  I reached out to a Ham Op. KK6CTT witch runs a net on the Keller Peak Repeater. I ask him because I am not Licensed for Ham Op. This episode is about a boy that lived behind me, in the early 90's. I was deadly Afraid of Water. I didn't know how to swim. I continued to use floaties until I was about 10 years old. Even the swimming instructor could not get me in the water. I could not get over my fear. This is what happens when you have CPR performed on you when you are young.
