In this special Friday episode of Into The Necrosphere, I lift the lid off a great interview I’ve been sitting on for a while: Prophecy Productions founder Martin Koller joined me earlier this year to explore his remarkable journey into the music industry. We traced his path from his early days as a concert promoter to the founding of his renowned label. Martin shares the excitement and lessons from his first release, provides insight into what Prophecy looks for when signing new artists, and discusses the evolving roles of music journalism and podcasting. He also explains the beginnings of the increasingly popular Prophecy Fest, and sheds light on the modern challenges of navigating societal issues as a label owner.   Visit Prophecy Productions online: https://prophecy.de/ Buy Prophecy Fest 2026 tickets here: https://fest.prophecy.de/    Subscribe for weekly black and death metal interviews, news rants, and track reviews! Death metal legend and one of my favourite guests to ever appear on the show, Chris Pervelis (Internal Bleeding), makes a triumphant return for a bourbon and red wine-fueled, no-holds-barred catch-up. We dive deep into the writing and recording of Internal Bleeding’s blistering new album “Settle All Scores”, then spiral into several unhinged tangents including the secret to a perfect steak, the unholy roar of muscle cars, Chris’s take on Black Sabbath’s final bow, and why we both secretly wish we’d majored in economics.    On the Weekly News Rant, Nathan Glover from Graveir - freshly signed to Apocalyptic Witchcraft Records - joins me to dissect brand-new tracks from The Ruins of Beverast, Veilburner, and Gloriously Depraved, plus we deliver the definitive verdict on Testament’s ballsy “Seek and Destroy” cover.     Please support the bands featured on this episode: Internal Bleeding: https://ib-maggotstomp.bandcamp.com/album/settle-all-scores   Obsidian Shrine: https://obsidianshrine.bandcamp.com/   Rottrevore:  https://xtreemmusic.bandcamp.com/album/iniquitous         Subscribe for weekly black and death metal interviews, news rants, and track reviews! Beyond the Gates 2025, held from July 30 to August 2 in Bergen, Norway, was a must-visit for metal fans. This iconic festival, set across historic venues like Grieghallen and USF Verftet, delivered a killer lineup with King Diamond’s first Norwegian show in 19 years, Paradise Lost, Misthyrming and more. Featuring 18 bands making their festival debut and epic sets like Gehenna’s original lineup and Abbath tearing through Immortal’s discography, it was a diverse celebration of black, death, and heavy metal. Fresh from Bergen, here’s my review of the thirteenth edition of Norway’s legendary festival.   Thumbnail credit: The ALMIGHTY Necroshorns (https://www.instagram.com/necroshorns/)
