Elias comes in to sign the initial paperwork to join the Service. On the road, Amanda takes calls for service while providing some insight into putting her learning to work.

Elias continues his training at home in Waterloo Region and gains valuable experience through foundational judgment scenarios. Later, he moves down to the Ontario Police College where he'll spend several months learning alongside recruits from across the Province with training in everything from police vehicle operations to intimate partner violence response. On the road, Amanda experiences a busy night responding to several calls, including one for shoplifting at a local grocery store.

Elias, with his excellent study habits, immerses himself in a full schedule of theory-based classes at the Ontario Police College, understanding the relevance of each lesson in his future career. The WRPS Training and Education branch members visit the recruiting class just after mid-term marks have been released. Amanda, reflecting on her time at the college, emphasizes how knowledge was the foundation of her future learning and its practical application in her job.

At the Ontario Police College, Elias builds on his experience with basic judgement scenarios, is introduced to immersive mock incidents and wraps up his time at the college with a graduation ceremony. Amanda takes a call from start to finish when communicators dispatch her to a situation where a man has threatened store employees.

Elias returns to Waterloo Region for post-Ontario Police College training, receives his badge and completes his first few shifts in the community under the watchful eye of a coach officer. Amanda continues her work in the community, responding to a call that requires a mental health apprehension.

Elias experiences shift work for the first time as he continues his training under the supervision of a coach officer and works towards becoming solo. Amanda reflects on her time as an officer and gives advice to anyone considering the career. The recruiting branch welcomes the newest class of recruits just starting their journey.
