It wasn't pretty. The home crowd booed their top-25 team at times as the No. 17 Fighting Irish squad got off to a sluggish start. But Notre Dame (3-1) got enough done to fend off Miami-OH (0-3), winning 28-3 after trailing early. The game had its highs--QB Riley Leonard threw a 38-yard touchdown pass and added a 50-yard touchdown rush on the ground-- and it had its lows in the form of a muffed punt by WR Jordan Faison. But, the Irish defense was able to force two turnovers and held veteran QB Brett Gabbert to 119 yards on 14/35 passing. After the game, Irish Illustrated's Tim Prister and Tim O'Malley were joined by Irish Illustrated Contributor John Brice of Football Scoop as they reviewed Notre Dame's 28-3 victory over Miami-Ohio and previewed Notre Dame's season-defining game against Louisville.
Irish Illustrated's Tim Prister and Drew Mentock are joined by John Brice of Football Scoop and Irish Illustrated as the crew goes live from ESQ Clothing in downtown Chicago. The crew took questions from the Notre Dame Club of Chicago and offered their thoughts on the upcoming Miami University game.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were upset by NIU 16-14 in Game 2. Join Tim O'Malley, Tim Prister, and John Brice as they break down why the Irish lost and what it means for the season moving forward.
The Fighting Irish are 1-0 while future scholarship Notre Dame players venture into their junior (2026 class) and senior (2025 class) varsity seasons.  In our latest edition of Tracking the Trail, Irish Illustrated discussed the fruits of Marcus Freeman's labor showing themselves in Notre Dame's season opener versus Texas A&M. Several of the most touted members of Coach Freeman's first few recruiting classes not only earned starting roles as underclassmen, but they also made significant plays on Saturday night.  That's where Irish Illustrated started in this week's recruiting podcast. It was followed by a discussion of Notre Dame's commits and how they fared in recent high school action, who we're looking to watch this weekend, and a popular 2026 recruit who is standing out in a big way.
Irish Illustrated Insider breaks down the threats (hint: they're on defense) Northern Illinois might pose to Marcus Freeman's heavily favored Irish in Saturday's season opener. We look at a few prop bets, the Over/Under (ahem, the latter), and which players and units should improve most over Game #1 for Notre Dame.
Irish Illustrated Insider reviews Notre Dame's seismic season-opening victory in College Station. Who played better than expected? Who fared worse? Which freshmen should receive a greater workload heading into Week 2?
Irish Illustrated's Tim Prister and Tim O'Malley are joined by FootballScoop's national college football writer and Irish Illustrated Contributor John Brice as they react to Notre Dame's 23-13 victory over Texas A&M at Kyle Field.

In our latest edition of Tracking the Trail, our recruiting podcast at Irish Illustrated, we kicked off the discussing by previewing the varsity season as a dozen Notre Dame commits will compete tonight.  We highlighted the top matchups and the Irish pledges we're most interested to track this season.  Additionally, Irish Illustrated discussed in details the trio of 2025 receivers who announced offers from Notre Dame today.
Irish illustrated insiders full booth puts its finishing touches on a projected depth chart, looks ahead to week one, and answers your questions.
Irish Illustrated's Tim O'Malley is back for one last Spotlight before the start of the Notre Dame Football Season. He's joined by FootballScoop's national college football writer and Irish Illustrated Contributor John Brice as the two talk about the offensive line (of course) and the rest of the Notre Dame Football team.
Irish Illustrated Insider offers intel from Notre Dame's Jersey Scrimmage, reviews training camp as a whole, and peeks ahead at favored Texas A&M. Oh, the offensive line probably makes an appearance here and there as well.
