Shaykh Ibrahim Osi-Efa returns to look at the 'Weak & Oppressed' Muslims in the formative Meccan years like in the lsdt session and then leaads on to the Qur'anic Character that manifested in the early believers.

This is the third part of kitab al wasiyya of Imam Abu Hanifa. It constitutes his last testament on issues of Belief [Aqida] before he passed away. It contains twelve aspects of faith necessary for Ahl as sunnah wa al-jama'ah to hold. This was taught by Shaykh Atabek Shukurov an-Nasafi as part of an Aqida continuum where the course will be looking in turn to all the books and schools of aqida.

Alhamdulillah the much anticipated Eighth episode of the Seerah an Nabawiyy series of lectures. Shaykh Ibrahim Osi-Efa continues to draw out the often ignored lessons from the blessed life of the Messenger of Allah [Peace & Blessings be upon him].
In this chapter we take a look at how things begin to change as the Messenger embarks upon his open call beginning firstly with his clan and close friends. The hardships faced by the early Muslims and the Prophet's [peace & blessings upon him] advice to them.

Beautiful recitation according to the riwaya of Hamza 'an khalaf by Shaykh Abdur-Rashid Sufi. Commonly we hear recitations according to the Mubarak riwayah of Hafs ['an 'Asim] and at times Warsh but it is rare to hear much of the other beautiful styles which number 7 [and some say 10]

The Teacher
Shaykh Ibrahim was born and raised in Liverpool, England. He was blessed with the opportunity to study several classical disciplines at the hands of some of the holders of the tradition such as Murabit al-Haj, al-Habib Umar b. Hafiz and Shaikh Hassan al-Hindi. Initially studying for three years in Syria and Mauritania, Ustaz Ibrahim was then blessed with the opportunity to spend over six years in the illuminated city of Tarim, Hadramaut where he studied under the qualified hands of teachers such as al-Habib Kazim al-Saqqaf, al-Habib ‘Ali al-Jifri and al-Shaikh ‘Umar Husain al-Khatib. He was one of the founders of several Islamic initiatives including the Ibn Abbas Institute, Starlatch Press, Badr Language Institute and the Greensville Trust. He currently resides in Liverpool, England with his wife and two children

Shaykh Abdul Aziz
Qualified as a teacher from Leicester University in 1984, Abdul Aziz Ahmed was born and raised in Nottingham, UK. He has taught in England, Scotland, USA, Africa and Saudi Arabia. His specialty is Special Needs and Language.
His Islamic Studies have taken him to Tunisia, Yemen, Hijaz, Turkey & East Africa.
His teachers include the late Shaykh Habib Ahmed Mashur Al-Haddad (Jeddah), Shaykh Abdul Rahman Al-Kitamy (Kenya), Sidi Fethullah Gulen (Turkey), and Shaykh Abul Qasim ibn Zein Qayrawan (Tunisia). He also spent 10 years with Shaykh Mahmud Galal from Al-Azhar (Cairo).
He has also translated a number of books including
