Description
It’s For The Table brings a little something for everyone, that’s right, to the table! We’re here to share our experiences as authentically as we would at a Sunday brunch with each other - unafraid to shine a light on topics otherwise kept in the dark. We’re unapologetic, a little bit messy and ready to own our stories. Take an hour, take off your bra (if you’re wearing one), drink your wine, and let’s be heard together.

As women, experiencing sexism is frustrating, especially in 2021. But what's worse, is experiencing it in everyday scenarios, like trying to buy a car at a dealership. This week the ladies of IFTT talk about stories where they've experienced sexism.

We are feeling gassed out, exhausted, stressed, and...well, strange. Now that things are getting back to normal with the pandemic it seems we just can't adapt back to our old schedule. So we're taking this episode to vent about how hard it's been, and hoping our listeners can relate as well.

Sometimes it's hard to forget that the body we have is beautiful and a blessing. Especially with today's society. But in recent times body positivity has become more acceptable and is talked about with confidence. Today's episode the women of IFTT talk about their body loving journey, where they are at today with their body and what they hope for the future.
Why is it that women have to be afraid of so much? Even something as simple as a compliment from a stranger. Catcalling to women is degrading, uncomfortable, and scary- so it's time for women to reclaim it. Women need to be seen as equals and men need to listen up and support the movement. This episode is dedicated to all the strong women out there, we got this.
There is no rule in the book of life that tells you to keep the same daily routine in your life. Whether you've experienced toxcity in relationships, friendships, or in your everyday environments - we all have common ground in the fact that regardless of how or when, we have experienced it. Toxicity doesn't discriminate. Some are better at spotting it than others but luckily for our listeners the IFTT ladies were NOT good at avoiding toxic people and environments at first so we have some a lot of stories and tips on how to manuveur through the toxic shit. But also luckily for you (and us) we have learned and grown from our past and we are excited to share those lessons with you as well! ⠀

This week we talk about where we get our confidence from and why everyone should feel confident about everything they do, no matter what.
Nowadays it seems like crime stories seem more popular than ever. But why are we obsessed with them? This week the IFTT ladies breakdown some facts and information on why specifically women are so intrigued by true crime. The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly disrupted and affected education systems across the country and around the world. It has changed the way we see classrooms and is now constantly shifting, with the health of students, teachers, and their families. Our special guest this week is Nikki Petersen, a teacher from the Philadelphia area who joined us on the podcast to talk about her journey through the pandemic as a teacher and human being just trying to get through the new normal.
Britney Spears hasn’t been able to fully live her own life for 13 years, stuck in a court-sanctioned conservatorship. And it wasn't until now that people were made aware of the dark reality of her life until a recent documentary. But the hyper-focus on the downfall of women in the limelight didn't start with Britney. In this week's episode, the ladies of IFTT talk about all things Britney but also how tired we are of women having to apologize and explain themselves for how they’re living their lives.

Why is it that we put so much pressure on ourselves when we turn 30? In this week's episode, Gabby talks about turning 30 and what that means to her. The ladies of IFTT are taking back the true meaning of entering a new decade in your life and remembering that age is just a number.
So, what's the big difference? Loneliness is marked by a sense of isolation, of lack, like something's missing—it's a negative vibe all around. Whereas alone is about being in solitude—without feeling lonely, while absolutely enjoying your own company. But how can we tell what we need to complete the emptiness? The ladies of IFTT talk about whether they're feeling lonely or are trying to get over the amount of time they have to spend alone.
Another year, another Valentine's Day. The ladies of IFTT are talking all things love, roses, and societal norms for the day of February 14th. But what better way to talk about cupid's holiday than with a male. Gabby's husband, Jeff, joins this week to reveal his perspective on the lovey-dovey holiday.
What's the best way to get out of a funk? You talk through it! It's no surprise that this past year has been a rollercoaster for everyone. But what can you do to help get you out of that mood? The ladies of IFTT talk about their worst funk habits and their favorite remedies to get the funk out of one.
