We are excited to welcome our first guest to "It's a Great Day in U4" with Dr. Boozer! Kendra Bonam is the principal of Bottenfield Elementary School. Mrs. Bonam began her career in Unit 4 in 2005 and spent nine years as a fourth grade teacher at Kenwood Elementary. She also recently retired from the Illinois Air National Guard after 16 years as a personnel specialist. Listen as Mrs. Bonam, a Champaign native and proud Unit 4 alum, shares her unconventional journey into education and the wisdom she is gaining as a first-year principal.
