Per reports, Mark Byington is finalizing the paperwork to become the next head coach at Vanderbilt. The SEC school recently fired Jerry Stackhouse after an up and down five seasons. On this episode of the podcast Jack and Bennett will look at the impact Mark Byington has left on the James Madison program and then, of course, break down some potential candidates that may fit what JMU will look for. This is a massive hire for the Dukes, arguably more important than the football hire. The duo will break this down from every angle.
JMU men’s basketball earned a No. 12 and will open its NCAA Tournament against Wisconsin, it was announced Sunday night. The Dukes come into the Big Dance as one of the hottest teams in the sport, winning a nation’s best 13 consecutive games coming into the event. They’re an absurd 31-3 on the season, with notable wins over Michigan State and Akron.

This week Jack and Bennett welcome in Jamree Kromah to talk about his NFL Draft Prep and his experience at the East-West Shrine Game. Then the duo dives into what to expect this weekend as the Dukes take on one Sun Belt opponent and a MAC opponent.

Then Jack and Bennett break down what happened in Boone, NC against App State and look ahead to the rest of the JMU MBB season.
