Now that the Hur tapes have been released and we heard proof positive that Joe Biden not know what year his son was deployed, what year his son died, what year President Trump won, what year the disastrous Afghanistan retreat was, endless incoherent ramblings of an "elderly man with a poor memory" etc. - it begs the question: who really was in charge from 2020 to 2024 and what were the national security implications of essentially having no sitting president, rather only a figurehead?
LOL. Not only was trump (lower cas t intended) unable to get Mexico to pay for “the wall”, he is apparently unable (too weak?) to get Venezuela to pay for the detention of their citizens. I hope they do subpoena someone from the White House to court and that someone is Steven Miller. He is the legalese (legal sleaze?) behind trump likely penning the flood of Executive Orders that trump signs buy much of the time doesn’t even appear to understand them or know what they say.
Fantastic!!! So good to remember all the criminality. The felon fellow never stops!!
Yes, without prejudice. To be continued… 🤞🏻👀
Does Jack Smith have evidence on co-conspirators not available to state prosecutors that could be handed over to them prior to Jan? State convictions could not be pardoned by a sitting President.
You are by no means alone, I hear this on news channels and other podcasts as well, but it's "appearance of partiality". You (and others) frequently say appearance of impartiality (which would be a good thing)!

Fun Fact: There's actually no such thing as "Webster's Dictionary". The name "Webster's" is long out of copyright, and any publishers can slap the Webster name on any crappy dictionary they want. Cannon isn't qualified to teach middle-school English, forget about being a judge. She has as little skill as she has shame, and is so corrupt that she should have an error code stamped on her forehead.
Why the fuck is there no long-settled "Murderer President Doctrine?" Does a president have blanket immunity? Well, what's the worst crime? Murder. Surely it would fit under such a blanket? Would a president who garrotted his chief of staff and livestreamed it on OnlyFans be allowed to carry on with his day as normal? Of course not. Thereby making the supposed "blanket" meaningless. Apply this ultra-basic conclusion to ALL CRIMES, and this "quandary" is solved for all time.
You know that the Trump goons are going to ignore all of this except the word "duplicity", because the non-legal-lingo meaning of the word is "lying". That is, they'll turn this into "Jack Smith is lying in his motions."

I was truly embarassed by the use of the word "sucks" and worse yet the gagging sounds made by Dr. Gill at an academic presentation at George Mason. After that, I had to stop listening because I felt sick with embarassment. There is a time and place for those antics and they just seemed ridiculous in this settling where you are setting an example of civil and meaningful policy dialogue.
Question: If frustration got the better of one of you, and on your podcast you spoke the sentence, "Judge Cannon is clearly utterly corrupt," would either of you face any discipline from the bar associations, or do you avoid saying such things more out of a sense of occupational "propriety?" Just wondering, because, you know, Judge Cannon is clearly utterly corrupt.
I'm just throwing this out there, but if any US attorney arguing before this Supreme Court told one of the judges that his decisions were precisely aligned with what a *corrupt* judge would be doing, that lawyer would become an international hero overnight. I phrased that in as anodyne a manner as I could, but come on, it's time to stop pampering the elephant in the room.
One enthusiastic "absolutely" to 2x/week podcast. Recommend mid-week. Was replaying episode 67 & psyched to hear this suggestion. Love "Jack" & highly recommend to others. Thank you for your excellent work. Will include gratuitous fawning in future comments; enjoy the informative, but fun format.
It really feels like your entire country is experiencing a carbon monoxide leak.
This ep reminds me that these two are that wonderful combination of intelligence and experience informing brilliant humour. One of the best trump disaster pods.
I hope you guys read this. You have got to read the Sydney Morning Herald's front page Monday 23rd Oct. Bombshell news about Trump & Pratt.
Well, I suppose Trump could try a fake witnesses scheme. Get Tucker Carlson to pretend to be Mike Pence and contradict his part of the evidence?
