The Toronto-based trio, made up of Adam Tune, David Matisse, and Greg Dawson, began as a live act that would flip popular hip-hop and dance music tunes. The trio then decided they wanted to create their own music and found success with their breakout single Dum Dee Dum, a song that became an anthem of the subgenre of instrumental trap music. Their affinity for flipping off-kilter samples and writing fun dance floor songs didn’t stop there. They continued to evolve their style over the years, injecting more of their childhood influences into their music until finally arriving at making house music from their perspective, which is influenced by hip hop, tribal rhythms, 90’s house music, RnB, and 70’s disco and soul. Jackies Music House Session #248 - "Richie Dio" Richie Dio: Music has always been a passion for Richie Dio since the age of six, when he began his musical instrument training in piano, drums and percussion. Since then, his music performance has taken many forms over the years, from jazz groups, rock bands and orchestras to DJ’ing and music production. Since his first big DJ gigs at NYC’s Tunnel and Limelight the 90s, Richie Dio has played at many mega-clubs and supported such acts as Todd Terry, Chus & Ceballos, Joeski, Oscar G, Harry Romero, Saliva Commandos, Jonathan Peters and others. His movement into music production was a natural outgrowth of his many years of musical training and DJ’ing, inspired further by his cousin, a Grammy-nominated songwriter and former American Idol Judge. Jackies Music House Session #242 - "Nich All Us" Nich All Us: Nicholas Arduini DJ, selector and vinyl collector, he began his journey in the world of clubbing in 2012 as resident DJ and art director in various clubs in Reggio Emilia(IT), and in the following years he had the opportunity to perform in big clubs and festivals around Italy, like Cocoricò and Nameless Festival. In 2018 he founded HBT, an event organization where he is art director and resident DJ. In his sets, strongly influenced by the sounds of black music in all its forms and from the house and techno of Detroit and Chicago, he offers a refined selection of the best grooves of the moment, tracks with more electronic sounds and tracks with African and instrumental sounds, ranging from house to disco to techno.
