Jacquie Scott Lynch, Ph.D. includes screenwriting in her personal past times, achieving Coverfly top screenplay badges for PAUSED, a TV comedy pilot, and DreamerZ, a feature film screenplay. She specializes in teaching the Arizona State Barrett Honors College’s signature interdisciplinary seminars—The History of Ideas and The Human Event — and also teaches the popular Screenwriting 101 for All Majors and also Storytelling Workshop for All Majors. Professor Scott Lynch looks forward to collaborating with her daughter, Aisling Scott Lynch, on future screenwriting endeavors.
Jacquie Scott Lynch and her husband, John, are supporters of study abroad opportunities for Arizona State University. Together, they fund an annual Study Abroad Scholarship for ASU’s Barrett Honors students. They annually receive personal letters from their scholarship recipients documenting the impact of their scholarship. Professor Scott Lynch is an avid traveler and enjoys trips to her husband’s home country of Ireland.
