I'm back after a personal break and event planning for 2022. This past weekend I got to experience a Music and Camping Festival, Okeechobeefest with friends and family. Gran Turismo 7 is amazing, AEW Revolution was awesome.

Happy Labor Day Weekend! On this episode I recap my last few months, 39th bday, moving forward with #CEO2021, dealing with social media and news headlines about Florida. Also recap AEW's All Out PPV (Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson debuts as well as CM Punk's Return) and seeing the #FGC lose their minds on one of the best PPVs of all time.
One of the most talked about topics in the FGC when brought up is how come open tournaments haven't switched from console to PCs. I talk about the costs, driver issues, ease of access and many other factors in switching from a centralized console that you know what to expect when running events and players are prepared compared to the massive costs using PCs for open tournaments with more than a few hundred players.
We re-opened CEO 2021 Registration to about 700+ more entrants and it sold out again near instantly. Dealing with the demand going forward and how community members should interact with events better as well as talk about my big summer project DreamHack Beyond happening in July! Also, Guilty Gear -Strive- is really good and I've been learning something new/rewarding with every match.
In a little under an hour most of our games hit their capped numbers for #CEO2021. In 30 minutes two hotels sold out. The response to CEO coming back has been insane. I talk about what I've been up to the last few months, preparing for CEO's relaunch, how we decide the final game list (spoiler, it's mostly because of the capacity we want to uphold before returning to full speed ahead).
