The U.S. presidential election is coming up next month, and it’s more evident than ever during this political season that people have been programmed to think emotionally and not critically. People are often motivated by fear, especially when it comes to politics. But what would it look like to be a critical thinker who is looking for truth? The biggest test in our walk with the Lord is a timeline. When things are delayed or don’t happen at the rate we expected we are thrown off, and begin to question— do I still trust God? Banning and Becky talk through this and how good fruit takes time and we ultimately have to shift our focus to all God is doing in the process. Leaders are both aware of themselves and what God is doing, and intentional in how they live their lives. Join Banning and Phil for this 12 week series on leadership as they teach us how revival is directly linked to leaders who take ownership of the call of God on their lives.

In actual fact this is not just "Church Wounds part 2". About the midway point there is an interview with one of the Bevere children who's wrote a book. No thanks. Not sure what the relevance of that is given that Banning makes it clear they are moving on around 20 or so minutes in. So why carry the episode on? The interview becomes filler for insufficient content if you are running to a minimum time limit per episode. This is just my observation.

Some very thoughtful comments tonight. As someone who has been through this, it was helpful to hear sound advice on it. I think the ending was the best part when Banning lost it on various topics and clearly got triggered too 😀
