Description

Jesus Who? podcast seeks to provide a perspective of what it's like living as young Christians in NYC -the real & raw aspects, the joy & goodness along with the struggles & the pains. We wish to start conversations and share insight on how Christianity is beyond what you see solely in the media.

This podcast was started as a way of contributing to the renovation of the gym into a chapel where we worship through our church’s Vision 2020 of RE:building, RE:starting, RE:doing.

More importantly, we are six hosts from unique backgrounds and a church that desire to share and spread the gospel!

With the modern day culture of individualism and self-importance, people don't really see how the pros of marriage outweigh the cons. Marriage is one of the most intimate and loving relationships that one can have in their life, but it's also one of the most daunting relationships for many. Even if people do choose to get married, there's no promise of success.  Divorce can take a toll on all parts of a person's life whether that be emotional, physical, financial, or mental. So, is marriage even worth it?  In this week's Valentine's day special, we invite two married couples to share their ideas on marriage, love, soulmates, and dating. Is a Christian marriage any different than a marriage between two agnostics? How do you choose who you will commit to for the rest of your life? Do you begin dating an individual solely based on feelings? Tune in to hear their honest opinions and reflections on marriage based on their lived experiences.

Welcome back to the last episode in our "Stop Loving Yourself" miniseries. Join our hosts Marcy and Melody and our very special guest on todays episode as they talk about what it means to "be yourself" and "follow your heart." Does following our hearts and just "being ourselves" truly bear the best results, or are there repercussions for such actions? Behind these mantras also lie a motive to please others. What we thought were simply benign messages of encouragement are actually traps with real life consequences. So you choose, are you still going to follow your heart?
