Dear Joyce, This may or may not reach you because you are out there lovingly touch so many live out there as you have done in mine tonight in SO many ways with just this one show I listened to on my way to work tonight. It was truly God sent in the way that it matched up with how I am feeling in my life right now and the fact that you spoke on my favorite scripture! I AM THE CLAY, AND MY LORD IS THE POTTER! I am fully embracing him more and more each day through my hardships and he is beyond what I have ever imagined! As are you! I will be listening! A forever fan, thank you for being a voice I can relate to! Sara.

Thank you for your podcast and everything else you do for Christ!! You are one blessed lady!! I want to share this with you...yes! it happened to me!! Praise Jesus! My First Outreach By Lisa Taulman 10/27/2019 I was selling a dog outfit and made arrangements to meet someone at my church to make our exchange. Not until I got to the church did I realize I should have made it 1 hour earlier, as after my exchange, I would be stuck in limbo for an hour before church started! So I had made the exchange and I'm sitting in my car at the church waiting for our Sunday night Praise & Sing when I heard children. That was out of the ordinary here and, well, anywhere I occupy nowadays. I looked to my right and there were two children, a girl and a boy; they had helium balloons. Then I seen a man pushing along a stroller with bags of groceries hanging off the back. I immediately opened my door and stepped out of my car. As he approached where I was I asked him if he went to church anywhere. His first words were, "I cant believe you ask me that as my wife and I have been talking about going to church." He said he had recently had a severe toothache infection, that he was very sick with, and was in the hospital and luckily able to get the right antibiotics." He said it was a big scare for him. I gave him my churches card and I said to him, "we would love for y'all to come visit our church! Just come and try us out!" He said they will definitely think about that and, with his small son pushing him to go, we said our goodbyes, and he went along his way. Well it was a really nice afternoon, especially for October in Indiana! So I grabbed my purse and locked up my car and headed to the front church steps to sit for awhile to wait for the others to arrive. I no sooner got sat down than I realized that guy and his children were at the house directly across the street! I picked up my purse and I ask him if he minded if I just had a few more words with him, he obliged and I stepped up my step and crossed the street. He began to tell me about his problems. They didnt have any financial problems, they both had pretty good jobs. They had plenty to eat and their bill's were paid. They worked opposite shifts and after 11 years he couldn't seem to get the gleam back in his wife's eye. I ask him if he still loved her, he said, "yes, with all my heart", and then he burst out in tears. My heart ached for him. My husband and I lived that scenario for many years. Working opposite shifts is very tough on a family! I ask him if he had ever had his children in church and I expressed that they needed to be exposed to the Lord at an early age, so they can get that foundation, that I could tell he himself had, because he appeared to know God. He said yes, he did and yes, he was exposed at a young age, also. I told him that he needs God. I told him that God handles everything in prayer for me. I told him how that when I lost my son I was so angry with God and how that when I turned back to God things started getting easier. I told him that if a problem is too overwhelming for me I pray and turn it over to God and then I leave it with God and move on. I told him that he cant just sit around upset about the fracture, he needs to get into action and fight while there's something left. I ask him if she had said she was going to leave him. He said she hadn't. I asked, "Then dont you know you have time left to turn it around?" I told him he needed to start by making her feel special; really special. I ask him if he had done that before. He said, "Well, she knows I love her". I said to him, "I ask if you have ever done something like that for her before?". He said, "no, no I haven't." I told him woman like to be pampered, so he needs to pamper her. I told him he should start by having a nice evening for just them where he does all the pampering. I told him to clean up the house and bedroom, add some candles, maybe some cheese and sausages and tell her what she means to him. Tell her! He started crying again and said that sometimes he wonders if they would be better off without him. And, at that, I pretty much gave my "My son left two children when he passed at 28 years old" spill. We talked about how God knocks on your head when your away from Him and how God can help him. I asked him if he had ever prayed and turned something over to God? I told him he needs the church strengthen him and teach him how to "turn it over to God and let it go". I told him that God can handle it. He said he will "almost" 100% be at our Sunday worship! He ask if he could hug me and I said yes, so he walked down the small incline and hugged me. He then said, "I don't know why I was able to say such personal things to you about my life. I am a very private person usually." And I told him that I knew exactly why. "Because God has a plan for you." And God had a plan for me when He had me book a delivery 1 hour early! 😇
